Dot satin waist cincher - cinch discontinued by Coquette - review by A.noel

The Dot Satin Waist Cincher is a beautiful piece that makes me feel super sexy.

It is made by Coquette and comes packaged in a clear plastic bag on a pretty black satin hanger that is perfect for storing it on.



There is a tag attached with a safety pin to the piece with a picture of a model wearing it, and it states the
color and size. Also attached to the tag are 4 stretchy garters that adjust from 6-9 inches long. The garters can be stored in the Ziploc-style bag that they come in when not in use.

These pictures show the garters fully tightened and fully let out.







The cincher itself is bright red taffeta with black stitched polka dots. The boning is plastic and covered in black velvet trimmed in black lace. The bottom of the cincher is trimmed in black satin ruffles, and the top is a smooth trim of black satin. The inside of the cincher is all black and is soft against the skin. There is no stretch to the fabric and this makes it very effective at slimming the waist; it can be pulled very tight to give the perfect hourglass shape.



It has a silver metal busk in the front and silver grommets with a thin black ribbon for lacing in the back.
The ribbon is very long - much longer than I need when lacing it tightly.

There is a small white tag inside the back of the cincher stating the care instructions and the size.



This is hand wash only, and should be hung to dry.

I received this in the 1x/2x size. I am 5'4" and a size 16 and this fits me very well. I love the look of it and how it gives me a smaller waistline when tightened.

The plastic boning does bend while wearing, but it straightens back out when it's taken off and it hasn't become misshapen yet, nor do I expect it to. This is great quality and I think it will last me a long time and many, many nights of wear.







I love wearing this; it makes me feel very sexy, and the man I wore it for absolutely loved it on me. It could easily be worn out to a club over a tank top with jeans, or over a white button-down shirt for a sexy schoolgirl/teacher look.
