Fishnet stud trim babydoll - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by Peggi

The Fishnet stud trim babydoll is one of Coquette's cuter pieces in my opinion, at least from what I'd seen on the product page! This piece is designed to be more of an in-the-bedroom item, however, in my opinion this looked better with some cute jeans than as something I'd wear to turn on my hubby.

The color scheme of the babydoll is dark purple and black. The top portion of the babydoll is purple while the bottom is black. Covering the purple material is black fishnet and the top of the cups is lined with 4 rows of black studs. I was initially attracted to the piece because of its more "punk" look, which made the set perfect for wearing out of the house. While my husband and I both were not too fond of this as something for me to wear in the bedroom, we both agreed that it would look quite sexy on me with my favorite pair of black and purple jeans. This comes as a set; a black g-string panty is included which matches the bottom portion of the set. The thong is purple with the black fishnet material and 3 rows of black studs.





The set is made of two materials - nylon and spandex. This gives the set a bit of wiggle-room, as it slightly stretches. It also is more durable than some materials, making this safe to wear for the bedroom even if you like to play rough! Unfortunately, the studs can come off easily so you will want to take care with them. Also, it is possible to stretch or rip the fishnet material if it were to snag on something, so extra caution should be taken with it. To keep your piece looking like new and to prevent shrinking, you will want to hand-wash this item only, however I did run this through a cool wash on gentle in a lingerie bag. This should only be hung to dry. Also, you will not want to line dry this in the sun, as the sun may bleach the darker material.

There is underwire to the cups of this babydoll which give your breasts added support. Although those with larger breasts may not have as much support. This may vary. The cups are also well padded and contain a third material known as lycra. The semi-open back of the set closes via hook and eye. This does not easily come undone during wear. The closure is comfortable and can't be felt.

The top portion is meant to fit snugly while the rest of the set hangs off of your body. This is great for hiding trouble areas, making this great for women who are self-conscious of any belly fat. I, personally, have a little pooch to my tummy and this hides it quite well. Though depending on how I stand it sometimes makes it appear as if it were bulging out as you can see in this photo:

The size options for this item range from small to 1X/2X. I chose the large, which according to the size chart should mean I would have a C cup, 38-40" bust, 30-32" waist, and a 40-42" hip. My actual measurements are 38C cup, 38" bust, 32" waist and a 40" hip. On buying this set, I weighed 140lbs, though that fluctuates, and am 5'2" tall.

From the center of the breast area to the bottom hemline, this babydoll measures 17" unstretched. The cups are 7 3/4" across and 6" up and down. It is approximately 27.5" around at the point where the hook-and-eye is sewn in. At their longest the straps are 15 1/4" long, but can be adjusted to 8".

Here are two different angles, both bending over and a downward shot. It actually fit my breasts quite well and you can't see much when I bend over or if someone is taller than me and looking down. This tends to happen a lot, as I am quite short!

Overall, I really love this set. I am not one for wearing underwear often, and when I do I tend to prefer boyshorts, so although the G-string is not uncomfortable I just don't particularly like it.

Nothing on this piece itches, scratches or irritates my very sensitive skin. As long as you are careful the studs shouldn't come off of either part of the set. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this fit me, and although this wasn't something I'd purchased for the bedroom, both my man and I find it very sexy! I especially love to wear this with my pair of black and purple checkered pants.
