Good For Clubs, Maybe Not The Bedroom
The design of this babydoll is sexy in all sorts of ways. The studs and fishnets that adorn it make it unique and show stopping. As lingerie the babydoll style just didn't work on my wider hips. It drew too much attention to them because of where the babydoll stopped. This was almost a loss. The I tried it on with jeans and found that while it was bad for me as lingerie it makes an awesome top. I'll be wearing this one as regular clothing from now on.

The Fishnet Stud Babydoll is one of three pieces in Coquette's Rocher Chic line. It also includes a bustier and dress. The babydoll is available in sizes S through 1X/2X. It features padded underwire cups. It is a set that includes the babydoll and matching G string.
PACKAGING
The babydoll arrives in a plastic wrap. It is on one of the Coquette padded hangers.
SIZING
I have this in the medium. For the medium I should wear a B cup with a bust measurement between 36"-38". My waist should be between 28"-30". My hips should be between 38"-40". My dress size should be between 8-10.
My actual size is a 6. My waist is 28" and my hips are 39". I wear a 34DD/36D cup.
The G string is 13" across and 6.25" down. It does not have a liner. The babydoll is 17.5" long. Under the bust is 13". Each cup is 5.75" across and 5" down. The waist is 15". The bottom is 33" once splayed out. The straps and back are adjustable.
The babydoll fits very well. I've found that the medium in Coquette usually works well for me and that was the case here. The bust I spill out of but not so bad that it can't be worn. I wouldn't recommend it for cups above a D. The underwire does offer a good amount of support considering it's lingerie and not an actual bra. The babydoll has a lot of extra material at the hips so it will fit larger hips than listed. It is a close fit under my bust so you won't be able to push that part.
DESIGN
I love the design of this line! The straps are small black bra like straps. The cups start with black studs. They are shiny and come to a point. They are made of plastic. Underneath the studs the cups are done in a purple material that has a bathing suit like shine to it. Over this material is a black fishnet. This design continues under the bust in a panel. It also wraps around the back to make up the adjustable straps. The rest of the babydoll is solid black somewhat shiny material. The G string is done in similar fashion to the babydoll. The top of the G string has the studs and the bottom has the purple with fishnet. The straps are plain black.
It should also be noted that the cups are padded. It's listed as lightly padded but there is a pretty serious amount of padding in this. It pushes my breasts up quite a bit.
MATERIAL
The material is 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The material feels like a softer version of a bathing suit. It has some stretch to it in the black areas. The purple material has less stretch. It's very comfortable against the skin and not itchy at all. I can wear this for long periods of time with no irritation.
QUALITY
There are a few areas where seams meet that look a little off to me on the G string. The babydoll itself doesn't have any seaming issues. I can find only one fray but it happens to be in between two of the studs. This makes me concerned that one of the studs near it may fall out. The studs seem secured pretty well to the piece. They are threaded on the babydoll/G string and together.
CARE
You should hand wash this babydoll. It should not be placed in the drier. It should be line dried. It should not be ironed or bleached.

Experience
When I first put this babydoll on I was somewhat disappointed. The design is gorgeous but the babydoll fit just wasn't flattering to my body. It stops in the middle of my hips (I'm 5'6"). My hips are my problem area so I generally don't try to call more attention to them.
My husband didn't like this at all. Well, he said it was "okay" but then made a yuck face. When pressed for more information he said it looked like a dress with stunted growth. He said it either needed to be longer or shorter but the length it was looked like it didn't know what it wanted to be. I tried explaining that's just how babydolls are. He didn't seem interested.
I was ready to consider this a loss even though I loved the fishnet over the purple and the studs. Then I went to take the photos for this review and put this on over jeans. This makes an adorable top! I showed it to my husband with jeans on and he agreed that it's much better as a top than it is as lingerie. I wore this while some friends came over and no one was any wiser that this was originally a lingerie piece. This will be worn out for sure.
As a top this gets a full 5 stars from me. As a lingerie piece I'd say maybe a 3. It's not a good style for my body type. It could look great on some, but not on me. I'm going to average it out and go with a 4.
