Lace taffeta corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by Lady Neshamah

My husband's favorite color is red, so I have a lot of red lingerie. He thinks it's sexy on my light olive skin. And he is right. But I usually pick out black for myself.

For my husband's birthday, he picked out Lace Taffeta Corset.

It comes in small, medium, large, extra large and 1x/2x. It comes with detachable bows, garter straps and shoulder straps. It's made out of nylon with plastic boning. It is in red and black with a bit of a floral pattern. The closures are hook and eye.

Being a plus sized girl, I wasn't sure if the large was going to fit my shape and breasts but it fit perfectly. When I got it I was a size 14 with E breasts and the corset wasn't tight at all. It fit perfectly. And even after I dropped some weight it still fits wonderfully.

Being top heavy I do have to to use the straps to help with extra breast support. The cups do have support in the construction and the fabric but not enough for me.

It is washable. You can hand wash it or many of the new energy efficient washing machines have a hand wash or delicates setting. Use light detergent on it. Trust me after a night of dancing in it, a day of performing or a day or night of raucous sex, it's going to need cleaning. Just remember to take the bows off. The have little pin backings and go off and on with ease.

The bottom of the corset rides bit low on my hips making it harder to sit down in it. But that doesn't bother me at all, however it could bother some people.

It is still a very sexy way to brighten up my husband's birthday and he loves it.

I have started to use my Lace Taffeta Corset in my pirate gear. It works wonderfully for that costume and the part that I play in the troupe. And it fits a bit big now, but that lets me run around in it and move even more. But I have to have a bra on with it to make sure that my boobs stay in place.
