Heidi Ho - costume discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by Abombadong

If I could have worn this particular item, I would be writing like a madman and this review would never end. Since it didn't fit me and I wasn't able to wear it for Halloween, or at all for that matter, I have no idea what to tell you but the basics, so here it goes . . .

Materials: cotton and spandex

The set includes hair ribbons, a choker, and the dress itself. The apron it claims to have is part of the costume. The bust of this piece is awfully small considering that this is supposed to be for plus-sized ladies! In fact, the whole dress is really small for plus-sized ladies. The length of the dress is way too small for a normal-sized chunk monster like me, especially since I do have quite a gut. The biggest disappointment of all is that there is no petticoat included even though the costume so desperately needs one; without one this costume falls flat.

There were virtually no smells when I opened the package except for the strong smell of deception and vinyl! This dress was well put together, however there were a lot of loose threads hanging about. Being 97% cotton and 3% spandex, I'm sure you could wash it on a delicate cycle. Since there are a lot of small components that go along with the dress, I would not recommend it, to be completely honest. Your best bet is to follow the directions on the package and hand wash it.

At first, I was really excited to open it. Now when I see it lying around the house, I get super depressed. It’s not that I don't like this dress, because believe me I love it, but it just doesn't fit. I had about an inch on the zipper to go, I blame my boobs . . .
