Mesh and lace chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by Ansley

This is a one-size fits most garment and should fit women up to 120 lbs with at least a D-cup due to the way the cups on the chemise are designed. There's enough room to accomodate the well-endowed ladies out there.


The blue on this garment is a sapphire blue, nice and bright. The color is on the center bow, the edge of the hem and topped off with two bows---one on either side. The stitching on the bows for the side are a little messy, and could use a trim but since no one is staring at them for long periods of time, I didn't really let it bother me.

The cups are a paisley design made out of lace that is really soft and kind of slick, so it seems like there is a little bit of spandex in there. And as I mentioned above, this will help fit a wide-variety of cup sizes. I'm on the smaller end, at 32B, but it still fits me nicely and the majority of the leftover is at the top instead of at the bottom.

The straps are satin and adjustable to 22" in length, with the smallest being 16" in length. This is great for a variety in height.

The mesh is totally see-through, kind of shimmery and very comfy. It's almost like you aren't wearing anything at all. It's extremely comfortable to sleep in and if you don't like the idea of going commando underneath, you can throw on a black pair of your choice. The coverage on the breasts is complete...you can't see the skin per se, but you can see the nipples become erect from a distance.

The bow in the center is removable. It's attached with a jeweler's pin (think broach or campaign button) and glued on with a significant amount of hot glue. I choose not to wear it because I have less cleavage than your average girl and it just makes the outfit look gaudy on me. On women with larger breasts and significant cleavage, it might be a great addition to the outfit. It is kind of heavy, though and wants to pull away due to its weight.

I think this would fit someone up to 120 lbs, as it isn't super tight on me but it is form-fitting. There is going to be a little bit of stretch in the material, but I wouldn't push it very far because it will weaken the material on the whole and open up the potential for rips and tears.

I still love this outfit and try to wear it a few times a month. I just love the way it feels on my skin! And it's just so classy and naughty at the same time. If you don't use the bow, you can wear this under thick(er) dresses. It's your own naughty little secret!
