Pinstripe chemise and thong set - chemise and panty set by DreamGirl - review by WhoopieDoo

I can't stress how comfortable this piece is. I've been wearing it all day (with the exception when I took it off to eat a giant stack of waffles), and I felt no irritation at all anywhere. I'm usually one to prance around my house in the nude, but I can't bring myself to take this off.

This thing came wrapped up in pink tissue paper. A chemise and a matching thong. There were no hangers and no plastic wrap. Just tissue, which is fine by me because there is less to throw away. I normally take pictures of packaging, but hopefully everyone can conjure the image of a wad of pink tissue paper in their heads.



IMPORTANT: The most important measurement in play with this piece is the underbust, a measurement that is sadly overlooked in sizing guides. My underbust is 37" and the band is rather snug. Laid flat, I can stretch the band to about 19" wide. IF YOU HAVE AN UNDERBUST OF 38 INCHES OR MORE, I RECOMMEND ORDERING UP TO THE 3X/4X AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THE REST OF THE CHEMISE BEING TOO BIG BECAUSE THE FABRIC FALLS VERY NICELY.



There's a cutesy little bow between the cups. It's small enough so as to be completely unobtrusive and still adds a small amount of glitz to the piece. I like it.



The thong was.....better than most. Most of the other reviewers of this set say that they like it, so I guess it's my lack of ass that makes it still a little too long on me. Still.....better than most.

Everything about this sizing says that this should fit and leave me a little extra room. WRONG. Luckily, I can fit what would be considered the "2X" end of this 1X/2X chemise, and this is very comfortable on me. Someone who usually wears a 2X would DEFINITELY want to order up a size. Someone who can wear a 1X but can't always wear an XL would need to order up as well.



Everyone else is saying that this piece is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The tag on mine says 85% nylon, 10% spandex, and 5% polyester. ???



Back view, in case you can't tell. I usually cringe when I see my "back view" photos, but this one is okay. I like how this chemise camouflages my pancake ass, as that part of my body I am most self-conscious about.



The customary side view. With arms down, the lace band in the back just barely covers my ass cheeks, which I love because it visually breaks up the ass area and magically makes it appear not as flat.



There is a slight bit of roughness to the edges of the lace, but if the edges were finished, it might add a slight bit of irritation (especially under the arms), so I'm totally fine with the unfinished edges. As long as you're careful washing this, it should be fine. (Tag recommends hand washing in cold water, anyway.)

To those who are concerned about breast support, the underbust band may add a small bit of support. The adjustable straps may aid in that, too, but there really aren't any features on this to keep boobs. In. Place. Ye be warned.



My hips are 42 inches (the very bottom of the sizing range) and the band still digs into my skin a little bit. There would be some serious digging in on someone whose hips are 48 inches (the top of the size range).

My camera really isn't fond of pinstripes. So many of the pictures I took were focused on parts of the chemise and not others. Believe me when I say I TRIED to eliminate any blurriness from my photos but I wanted to get this review finished before I died of natural causes.

I really love wearing this. It's so slinky and sexy and I've caught myself just running my hands over the fabric several times today. During the course of this day, the only thing able to get me out of it was my desire to not have syrup all over it. There isn't a thing I would change about it.
