Lace top stockings black - thigh highs discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Blonde

Introduction

To begin with, the reason why I'm writing this review is that when I got the package with the Lace top stockings from Fantasy Lingerie I was quite confused and disappointed - in real life these stockings look completely different from what is presented on their product page. They look just like these thigh highs. Moreover, in the product description on the product page it says "Silicone Stay Up Lace Top Stockings", but there is absolutely no silicone on these. In addition, I don't understand what is the difference between the Lace top stockings, which I ordered and these stockings. Even the package of my stockings says "Extreme". So completely puzzled I decided to write this review.

Use

These stockings can be theoretically used in a bedroom and outside of it - they are classic black stockings with a lace top. I use the word theoretically, because these stockings are quite "fragile" - it is very easy to tear them. I doubt they will last more than one time if you go out wearing them. They have no silicone and don't stay up well (though they do stay up for some time), so you better wear them with a garter belt.

Material/Texture

The lace top stockings come in three colors: red, white and black. Mine are black. The stockings are made of nylon and lace on the top which are both synthetic materials. These materials are easy to maintain, but they don't stand high temperatures very well, so you shouldn't boil or bleach or iron them or use a scouring powder. Just wash your stockings in sudsy water and they are ready to go again.

The texture is very soft and pleasant. They feel good on your legs and I bet your partner will enjoy touching them. To compare with other stockings I have, these lace top stockings are little less soft than these cuban heel thigh high and these Ruffle top stockings, so I conclude that in general Leg Avenue stockings' material is little softer. Also I like the quality of the Leg Avenue stockings more, but this is my personal oppinion.

The stockings are matte, but completely sheer, including the lace. As I already said these stockings are "fragile". Right from the box mine already had some snags. That is why I wear them only in the bedroom.


Sizing

The lace top stockings come in five sizes: S,M,1X,L,2X. There is a size chart, but it is not very applicable to the thigh highs. Also there is another size chart on the package, which may help you little more than the one from Eden. But there is no S,M,L, but A,B,C instead. Here it is:



I ordered size S. They fit me like all the "one size fit most" I ordered before. My legs are 17 inches at circumference where the band should be and my inseam measurement is about 29 inches (to count from the heel).

To compare, the normal tights that I wear with lace and silicone are 16 inches at circumference at the widest part of the band and 10 inches at circumference at the tightest part of the band; and 26.5 inches long, including the band. These lace top stockings are 13 inches at circumference at the widest part of the band and 9 inches at circumference at the tightest part of the band; and 27 inches long, including the band. And the lace top stockings stretch very well.

Packaging

The package is quite ordinary for the stockings. They come in the cardboard box with the picture just like the one on the product page. On the backside of the box there is some information about maintenance and manufacturer and the size chart I provided above. Inside the box there is plastic bag with the stockings itself.

I would be completely satisfied with these stockings if the product page gave me the right information. I expected to get the stockings from the product page picture, silicone stay up, but got completely different product, similar to the one with different price. These stockings are good, but they are not the ones I wanted.

Though I do wear these stockings, I still don't like that I got not exactly the product I ordered. Due to their fragility I wear these only in bedroom and that is the reason they are still safe. Nevertheless, new snags have appeared.
