A teddy was something I'd never experimented with before, even with my ever growing collection of lingerie, so when I got the opportunity to review one, I got really excited.

My new teddy came in a small plastic bag wrapped in a pretty pink tissue paper.

This teddy is a one size fits most. To Coquette that means that you should be between a size 4-14, have a B cup, 34-40" bust, 26-32" waist, and 36-42" hips. Personally I'm about 5'2, I weigh about 105, around my bust measures 31" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 25" waist with 33" hips and wear a good solid B cup. The cups were really lacking, but nothing was too tight or too loose.

I got this teddy in fuchsia but it also comes in a green. It's composed of a bikini top attached to a 8 1/2" tall by 3" wide body 'wall' which is attached to what is basically a skirt with a built in thong. The 'wall' does stretch, but not much, only going up to 11 1/2" in height. The cups offer no visible support, and for the smaller breasted woman, this won't be a problem. But I think that if you're much bigger than a C cup, you might run into problems with having enough support. From edge to edge underneath the bust the cups measure 14" across unstretched, but stretch to just about 18". Each cup is no bigger than your average bikini top cup and in fact, might actually be a bit bigger. There's one strap on the top of each cup meant to tie behind your neck in a halter style, and one that comes off the side of each cup to tie behind your back. A small pink bow adorns where the top straps meet the cups as well as where the cups meet each other. The bow where the cups meet also has that signature Coquette charm, the tacky lips.

The wall has about 1" of black ruffles with a pink edge all the way down its length. Where it meets the thong there's an elastic band that sits on your hips as the waistband. Unstretched it measures 13" across, but stretches to about 15 1/2". All the way around the waistband is a 2 1/2" tall band of mesh ruffle. It's just a longer version of the ruffles on the side of the 'wall'. This band of ruffle basically makes a little skirt around the teddy. Where the G-string forms in a 'T' at the back, there's a tiny pink bow that matches all the rest on the top. The G-string itself is also made of mesh. On me, the front of the triangle wasn't quite wide enough to cover everything.

I pulled and tugged and inspected seams and this teddy is made really well I think. If you want it broken in any way, you're gonna have to try really hard.

There is a care tag attached to the ruffle skirt that tells you that your teddy is 82% Nylon and 18% Spandex and that you should hand wash. I don't see any reason however that you couldn't wash this in a lingerie bag on the coldest lowest setting in your washing machine, and then let it air dry.

For storage, just keep this teddy anywhere you keep the rest of your delicates.

The first time I put this teddy on, I got pretty disappointed. My boobs all but disappeared, and I felt that the waistband should have stretched a lot more than it did, especially for being a one size product. I was actually worried about whether or not I was going to be able to get it over my hips. Once it was on though, it was a little better. The front didn't bunch up awkwardly, which I was worried about because I'm only 5'2.

It wasn't the most comfortable piece I've ever worn, but it certainly wasn't the most uncomfortable either. Part of my discomfort with it is a natural aversion I have to G-string thongs. But that aside, I could tell it was there, but it took a while for it to get to the point that I wanted to take it off. After about an hour or so I did feel as though the sides of the waistband were starting to dig into my hips.

Based on my experience with this teddy, I would say that you'd be safe ordering this if you normally order a size small, and maybe even a medium. I wouldn't recommend wearing it all day long, but you might also find it more comfortable than I did. For a sexy night in, this is a great choice.

I've worn it a few more times, it went through the washer just fine once, air dried fine, but I'm still not all that fond of it. Just the way it fits me and the way it makes my boobies disappear. A friend of mine saw it and wanted to give it a shot, so I've let this piece go.
