I was very excited when I ordered these crotchless panties. I love the corset feel of them, and the black lace is very sexy. Because I am a plus sized girl, I ordered them in a 1x/2x. When I got them in the mail though, they were huge! They sort of fit my butt, but they hung off awkwardly and the front had a pocket-like sag to it. Not to mention the crotchless part hung far below where it should on me.

I was incredibly disappointed! This hardly ever happens to me (usually things are too small) but this is the second piece of lingerie that I have ordered from Eden, and both have been huge. I'm thinking I should stick with the XL's from now on. That opens up many more options for me, and it's nice to not have to think in plus sized terms.

Anyway, back to the panties. I was super disappointed because they looked ridiculous on me, and I knew that having sex in them would be awkward because of all the excess fabric. You could literally fit 2 of me in this pair of panties.

So what did I do? I felt so clever. I went into the kitchen and I snipped off the crotchless straps, making it into a tiny lacy skirt. I also trimmed the ribbon, because it was way too long. My boyfriend loved this idea, and we quickly got down and dirty with my little skirt. It fits perfectly now because the elastic waist sits just a tad loose, and now it simply looks like it has little ruffles instead of huge pockets of fabric. I love my solution!

Because these turned out to be so big on me, I don't ever wear them underneath anything. Others who have more form-fitting pairs will probably be able to throw them on under jeans or a skirt, but I never have. Be careful of the size you order!

Even though I re-purposed these, I still like them. I might consider ordering another pair a size or two smaller, but I worry that they would still fit funny. Overall, they are a good product, and pretty well made. They have held up well because I wash them in a lingerie bag, but the ribbon has started to fray so I burned the ends and now it's fine.
