When I saw this lingerie set online, I had high hopes for it. It looked great on the model and the reviews seemed pretty promising. I was looking for a bustier set and this one seemed sexy but tasteful. The material also seemed to be fairly comfortable. Unfortunately, it was not as I had hoped.

I'm about 5'1 and 96 lbs. The corset did nothing for my breasts or waist. There is neither padding nor support in the bra, so for those that might need a little "push," the bra left my breasts woefully flat. The strange thing was that it not only left my breasts looking flat, it also left them looking deformed.

The corset also did not nothing to enhance an hourglass figure. I hoped that it would have some cinching effect, but this might be an issue with universal sizing. Although it had some structure, it might not be the best fit for petite silhouettes. I also did not find the cut-out particularly flattering.

The garters are attached to the corset. This might be a problem for some as it might not be short enough or long enough depending on your proportions. They were a bit too short in my case and would have required me wearing the stockings a bit higher than what would have been flattering. Generally, stockings looks best a few inches above the knee, because once it goes into the thigh area, you find yourself with the stockings pinching rolls into your thighs.

My biggest gripe, however, was with the thong. It was really high cut and loose. I was expecting skimpy, not jock strap style. Unfortunately, a jock strap was how it felt. It was strangely bulgy and had thin straps.

Overall, this set did not make me feel like a belle du jour. In fact, it barely left me feeling sexy. We all know the discomfort of lingerie, but looking sexy should make all that pain worthwhile. With this bustier set, it was all discomfort and sexiness nowhere to be found.
