Packaging
The chemise came packaged inside of a plastic bag hanging on a plain plastic Dream Girl hanger. There are two cardboard tags attached to the side by a plastic string giving the size, style, and contact information for Dream Girl. The second tag gives the composition of the chemise. There are three small tags attached to the back of the chemise right by the clasp. One is a tag that only says Dream Girl, one mentions that the chemise was made in China, and the third gives washing, composition and size information. In the back of the thong there is one tag that gives the washing, composition and size information. The tags are sewn in place but can be easily removed if they become uncomfortable, or in the case of the thong they show through the fabric.

Design and Sizing
The Secret Passion Chemise is made of a red mesh material overlaid by a nice black lace. The red is a really beautiful color, sometimes reds can be too much toward orange, but in person this one is a beautiful valentine red. If looked at closely the mesh seems to be see through, but when worn it is very much opaque. The lace has a very nice flower pattern on it that reminds me of a mix between daises and roses. The two layers are only sewn together along the hem, so the rest can sort of flow against the other layer.

The thong is made out of the same lace as the rest of the chemise, however it doesn't have the red backing which means that it doesn't quite match as well. The chemise is pretty simply constructed. The front is similar to a short dress, and the back is clasped by a bra style hook and loop closure with a small keyhole below it. The blast has three rows of hooks to give a little variation in sizing, with each size having two hooks and two eyes. Also, the seam where the lace is sewn together runs straight down the back.

The straps aren't removable as they are sewn in place. They are adjustable with a small slider like on a bra strap and where each strap attaches to the cup there is a small bow that seems like it could be easily removed if desired. The cups don't provide any support other than a sewn elastic band below them, which may be a problem for bustier women. The lace trim on the edges of the cups doesn't have an underlay which may lead to some nipple visibility if they aren't attended. Unstretched the chemise is 24 inches from the bows on the cups to the bottom hem, and has a width of 19 inches along the bottom, 14 inches at the narrowest point at the waist and 16 inches across the cups. The straps are very adjustable, being able to be adjusted between 17 and 8 inches. If you need any more measurements let me know and I can get them. The construction was very well done with no loose threads and no snags in the lace.

The thong is made of a single piece of lace, with an elastic waistband and a small cotton panty liner. Sadly, as I mentioned before the thong doesn't quite match the chemise because it doesn't have the pretty red fabric, its only lace. Unstretched the thong has a 14 inch waistband, which can stretch to 20 inches. the panty liner is 3.5 inches long and between 1 and 2 inches wide. The thong construction was a little worse than that on the chemise because the waistband had some fuzzies, but nothing that seriously detracted from it.

The medium that we purchased fit excellently. It wasn't too loose or too tight in any areas, which is unusual for my girlfriend because her waist is much smaller than her hips or bust which usually leaves the waist a bit loose. I feel this is because the material has some stretch to it so it clings to the body. As I mentioned before, the lace on the top of the cups can be a bit revealing if a bra isn't worn, but the top really isn't really meant for wearing with a bra. The last thing is if you are concerned about your butt showing this will have to be pulled down frequently since it naturally rides up to show a little cheek. Because the bands of the thong aren't very elasticy they were uncomfortable and cut into the hips a little bit. This combined with the narrowness of the thong means that it is quite revealing in that region.

Materials and Care
The chemise is listed at 50% nylon and 50% polyester. The material is pretty transparent if held up to the light, or if looked at closely, but when worn it it completely opaque. The red mesh material is surprisingly soft against the skin. The thong is labeled 100% nylon, but probably has something else in the elastic waistband and panty liner portion. The tags for both the thong and chemise say to hand wash in cold water and line dry, and as usual I suggest following those instructions, especially so with this item because I would worry about the lace snagging and tearing if it was just thrown into a washing machine. The chemise hasn't shown to be prone to wrinkling, which means this would probably travel very well and could be tossed into a suitcase for a fun weekend getaway.

Overall we really like this outfit. The red is a very beautiful color, and the mesh and lace are just so comfortable. The problems with the thong can be overlooked because since it doesn't match anyway we can replace it with something we like a bit better. This item is definitely a success in our book.
