The Secret Passion chemise by DreamGirl is a beautiful patterned piece of lingerie that is sure to grab the attention of your significant other. It arrives in a plastic clothing bag on a hanger, which prevents wrinkles and damage during transport and storage. It’s accompanied by a lace thong, which is also on the hanger.


Affixed to the chemise is a tag that shows the model in the dress, the size, and the fabric information. It doesn’t tell you how to wash it. I would suggest using a lace wash and hand washing this item. Also, don’t throw this in the dryer; it contains nylon and can melt.


The Secret Passion chemise is made of a red polyester and nylon, with a lace overlay.


The red part of the dress is actually a bit on the see-through side. When it's worn, you can’t really tell it is see-through because of the patterns in the lace. The lace pattern draws the attention to the lace, rather than the red part. Together, both fabrics make it look solid. The lace has a beautiful floral pattern mixed with a sort of fishnet style. The overlay is sewn onto the red part of the chemise with a discreet seam placed on the inside of the chemise. The only seam visible to the eye during use is the black seam on the back, which runs from top to bottom.




The shoulder straps are thin and basic, but they stay on well. They didn’t slip when I wore this chemise. The straps are adjustable, and they have a cute bow design on the front of each one. The back of the chemise has a 3 prong clasp for adjusting the sizing on the bust.



The bust area of the chemise has a small, nearly unnoticeable seam where the under bust is supposed to be. The top of the bust area is lined with lace, and it overlaps in the middle of your cleavage. Unfortunately this is where the chemise failed to deliver. I ordered the 1x/2x size. According to the DreamGirl sizing index 1x/2x fits up to 48” DD cups. Dreamgirl sizing chart: 1x/2x size 16-18 Cup D-DD Bust (in) 40-48 Waist (in) 36-40 Hip (in) 42-48 Inseam (in) 36 1/2 Rise (in) 9-9 1/2" Weight (lbs) 165-225. I am a natural 42 DD, and this chemise did not cover even half of my breasts. When you put this on, the bust area lays flat; there is no actual cup to it. So, instead of your breasts having an area designated for them, they just pop out of the top. Or, the seam will move up to where it isn’t supposed to be. This chemise is not big bust friendly. This may look nice on fake breasts, but not on natural ones. Smaller busted ladies may find this to fit them better. I’m disappointed that this is sold in plus sizes, as it doesn't fit natural busts. This also isn’t tummy friendly for those with baby fat. It doesn’t lay flat, and it tries to hug the body. So, if you have baby fat, I’d suggest going a size up to avoid the clinging of the fabric.


The thong is lace, and it's the designs match the one on the chemise. There is no red in it, unlike the chemise -- so it isn’t an exact match. However, the lace ties it in with the chemise. The crotch area is polyester and thin. The thong part isn’t thin like some stringy thongs; it is about 1/2” – 1” thick. The lace isn’t itchy, but it could cause irritation in the bum area as it is a bit thicker than stringy thongs.


Altogether, the chemise is stunning. It’s soft and breathable, and it just looks amazing on the hanger. Unfortunately, the sizing is off a lot in the boob area. I’m pretty disappointed that this did not fit my boobs. I’ve been waiting for this thing to come in stock for what seems like forever, and I was genuinely stoked when it was ordered. However, I was very upset when I put this on and found that it didn’t look sexy at all. I feel like if something says it will fit a certain size, then it should deliver. Big-busted girls beware!

I'm still pretty disappointed in this chemise. I've only worn it a couple times and it just doesn't accomdate enough room for a large chested girl. I want something I can feel sexy in and if my breasts aren't going to fit well I'm not going to feel very comfortable. While this was very pretty, the sizing was supposed to fit my chest size, but it fell flat.
