Fetish honeycomb bustier set - bustier discontinued by Escante - review by WhoopieDoo

I was very excited and nervous when this set came in the mail. Excited because...well, duh, I'm always excited when I get packages from Eden. Nervous because I had to order a 1X instead of an XL (which totally sound like they should be the same thing, just for the record) since the sizes go straight from Large to 1X...

According to Escante's size chart:
Large-- cup size: C - D bust:36 - 38 waist:32 - 34 hips:34 - 36 weight:140 - 160

Ok, I have C-cups, my numbers are 42/32/42 (well, more like 33 today, pigged out way too much yesterday and mega bloated), and I weigh 185 pounds...I'm clearly too big for a Large. Moving on.

No XL offered...what about 1X?
1X----- cup size: D bust:40 - 44 waist:44 - 48 hips:50 - 54 weight:175 - 200

Ok, the only things right about that are my bust and my weight...but I want this so damn much I'm willing to chance it. So I ordered the 1X. AND I'M GLAD I DID. I LOVE THIS.

ATTENTION EVERYONE! THE ESCANTE SIZING CHART IS WRONG! ALL OF THE PLUS SIZES ARE LABELED 10 INCHES TOO BIG IN THE WAIST AND HIPS (BUT CORRECT IN THE BUST)! IT SHOULD SAY BUST:40-44, WAIST:34-38, AND HIPS:40-44!



It came in a translucent bag on a hanger.

The bustier and thong are both 100% polyester (the stockings are 100% nylon). I found absolutely *no* defects with this upon CLOSE inspection. It's very well made and I have no complaints regarding it's construction. The material isn't itchy and has good stretch. However, my waist measurement in the pic is 33 inches (1X bustier should fit 44-48), and my hips are 42 inches (bustier should fit 50-54)...so I'm not sure if this would actually fit the measurements on the chart. I'm under the impression that this does run small (which works very well in my favor). It's difficult to say, and I'm sorry I can't be more informative in this area.

The bustier comes with 4 detachable garters. The hooks are plastic and very well made and don't slide out of their loops like most metal ones I have experience with tend to.





















The washing instructions are to hand wash in cold water, don't wring or twist, line dry, and iron on low if necessary.

The set also came with a pair of queen size nylon stockings...nothing special. I ran them when I put them on, but that's just because I'm lazy about keeping my toenails under control. I have plenty of better stockings to wear with this anyway.

The "wrinkling" in the pics in the bust area isn't really as noticeable as it is in the pic. My C-cups aren't quite big enough to stretch the fabric enough to make the wrinkling go away, but the size chart does say D-CUP for a size 1X. I fill it out enough to be perfectly happy with it though. I really love this bustier, and I'll love it even more once I de-bloat!
