Fetish honeycomb bustier set - bustier discontinued by Escante - review by biancajames

I got this set because I go to a lot of BD/SM play parties and was excited to see such "kinky" looking lingerie in my size. I'm a size 18/20 with a big bust. This is how it looked on me:



The breast pieces and hem are made from PVC, while the body is made of stretchy, large weave nylon "honey comb" patterned fabric. I had one of the loops in the fabric tear the second time I put it on, so it's not the most durable fabric. There are large hook and eye clasps that run up the front of the bustier, but I actually found them kind of ugly and inconvenient- they had a tendency to catch on things, and the garment was stretchy enough that it could slip on over my head. I would have preferred that this bustier not have the hooks at all.

I had been hoping to wear this to a party the day I got it but it just didn't look right to me. Like almost all lingerie I purchase, it was too small for my 42F breasts. Normally I'd just wear it with a bra, but the funky back straps made that nearly impossible:



The back straps not only covered up my tattoo, but looked incredibly stupid when worn with a bra. While this bustier looks sexy barely concealing my breasts, it isn't exactly safe for a night on the town if I can't wear it with something underneath.

I did like that the bustier is long enough to cover my belly, since the enclosed pvc g string (a triangle with bits of elastic to fit around your hips and between your butt crack) certainly didn't. Another nice feature is that the garters are detachable, so you could easily wear this with pants or a skirt as a bustier top without the stockings attached.

The enclosed stockings are just plain, sheer black stockings with a seamed toe. The thigh band was semi-tight on me, so I could only get them about an inch or two past my knee. I would probably opt to wear this outfit with different stockings. But the truth is, I've pulled this out as a wardrobe possibility on three separate occasions, and decided I didn't like the way it looked. I tried to brainstorm ways to make it look better, and I'm stumped. The fabric and cut is simply not flattering to my curves.

I tried to foist this off onto a friend who is built a little differently than me. She didn't like it either. I guess this is just one made for smaller girls!
