Gathered mesh teddy - teddy discontinued by Coquette - review by MissLustCaution

I was interested in this gathered mesh teddy due to it's design. I wasn't comfortable enough with my mid-section to do a basic bralette set and the ruffled center piece in this teddy seemed perfect to hide my trouble area. The ruffled center is a nice detail if you want to conceal a small tummy pooch but still show some skin. The bottom is a thong back with a "skirtini" which is gathered fabric wrapped around the waist. The top is adjustable. It ties as a halter and around the ribcage.

The mesh fabric is a bit rough on the skin but not unbearable or intolerable. I would not machine wash this teddy due to the fabric being delicate even though mesh is typically machine washable cold. I would hand wash it in cold water and air dry. Do not bleach or iron. I don't know many of us that would, but it is always best to make note of it.

I was a size 12 with a 34/36 E cup size at 5'11 in height when I put this teddy on. The tie design should allow for this to fit most bodies but I had issues with the strings. When I went to tie the string around my ribcage, the seam ripped and the stitching came undone. If you normally need underwire for support, I would not depend on the support of this product.

My experience with the fabric's strength leads me to not suggest this product to anyone with a body over a size 8 or anyone with a larger cup size. Ideally, this one size fits sizes:
+ Dress size 2-8
+ B or C cup size
+ 30-34 measurement around the ribs

If you fit within those measurements, I would get this product. It is available at a very affordable price.
