Lycra chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by Eyesonfire

This sexy chemise is made by Coquette and is nylon and spandex. It comes in a clear plastic bag on a nice padded hanger. It does not come with underwear, but does come with 4 black detachable garters.

I bought this in a large to make sure it wasn't too tight. Starting with the top, which is a push up with underwire. The top fit well (Full 34C) and comfortably. There was a little wiggle room in the top, but nothing that couldn't easily be adjusted. The cups are silver with the black lace overlay. In the middle of the cups is a black bow with a large rhinestone. This bow cannot be removed and is the only part of this chemise I don't care for. The bow on this stays turned sideways, which may just be a defect my chemise has.

The silver continues in a panel in middle of the front of the chemise with the black floral lace covering it and continues in the ruffled, flared skirt along the front and back on the bottom. The silver material has no stretch. It does create a slimming effect and adds to the shape of the chemise.

The back of this is plain, minus the flared skirt, but this makes it very wearable and comfortable to sit or lay down. There is silver in the lace to mimic a glitter effect, which is very nice. The black material is very stretchy.

This chemise fit well except it was a little snug on the hips. It might be short for anyone tall, but for my 5'5 frame it was the perfect length for the bedroom.

I have not attached the garters yet, but they are stretchy and easy to attach by hooking them into the loops provided on the bottom inside of the chemise.

The lace feels very delicate so I would suggest hand washing and hang drying.

I still like this chemise, but it now has quite a few loose threads, so I don't know how much longer I will be able to use it. Other than that, it is fine.
