Wetlook tank top - camisole discontinued by Coquette - review by XxXxX

The Wetlook Tank Top is brought to us by Coquette. It gives the sexy wet look that we all know and love without the uncomfortable sticky feel of it on the inside. The inside feels more like a cotton fabric than anything else, so you don’t have to worry about the icky, sticky, sweaty feeling. Unlike pleather, it doesn't crack and wear if you have to stretch it around you more than others. Though when you move and shift in it, it tends to crease up a little or ride up on the belly. This could just because I wasn't wearing it tight enough, but if I wore it super tight on the front I would have my skin and back fat bulging!


It comes with the one size fits all sizing concept. It is 21 inches from top to hem and about 14 inches from side hem to side hem, unworn over the bust area. It is made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The back is lace up and comes with a rather wide and long length red lace that stands out. The lace is made of satin. I personally ended up cutting about 5 inches from each other the ends so I didn't have a huge bulge in the back. But due to the lace up back, this 'one size fits most' may actually be able to do the fit most part, unlike other products. The lace goes through the large silver grommets to keep it in place.

As for care instructions: Spandex cannot stand high temperatures so never soak, boil or bleach this material. Wash in tepid water and allow drying in an airy place. Nylon can be washed in sudsy water. Never use a scouring powder. I put this in a quick wash on cold after removing the lace. Then I hung it to dry. I hand washed the lace and also hung to dry so it wouldn't fray.

When I received it and took it out of the package it was already laced up with the loose ends at the bottom, so I simply loosened them up just a little more, like you would with your shoes before you put them on. I slid it right on and simply tightened it up and tied it at my lower back. As previously stated, the laces are going to be long if you are my size, so you may want to shorten them just a bit. If you are a larger size and make more use of the lace, you may not have any issue with the length.

My Measurements are 36" / 26" / 36", I'm 5'5" and weigh 120 - 125lbs. with saggy B cup breasts and it fit me nicely. I wore a bra in the picture because it seemed to flatten my chest even more and that was really the only downfall.

I personally love this shirt and will wear it in my line of work or out on the town. I like the sexy look it gives and I really love the wet look in general without having the sticky and sweaty feel of the vinyl. The only issue I have is it flattens out my breasts even more. This is not good for a girl with less perk than most. I would probably have to tighten up the back more or wear something under it to hide the back to my push-up bra!

I am giving a 4 star rating because I love the tank top overall. It does ride up and I tend to have to pull it down so it doesn't ripple. Also, the laces were too long and I had to shorten it.

After wearing this out in public and getting lots of positive comments on it. I wish they would come out with a couple other designs or colors. It really does look sexy, yet not too sexy to go out.
