This corset has two wearable options: a swirly red pattern with black boning, or a silky basic black. Both are equally attractive, depending on the outfit. Having the choice to reverse this corset is a lovely feature. This can be worn as lingerie, a casual top with jeans, or a more formal top with a skirt or dress pants.



The corset has a hook-and-eye closure to it, which is my only complaint. I'm normally fine with hook-and-eye, but this corset has some space between the fabric, so you get a line of space down the front. The model in the photos on the product page does not have this on the red side, which would only happen if you wear this corset very loosely. If you have it snug at all (which is how you usually wear a corset) there will be a line down the front on both the red and black sides.



The lacing detail at the top of the corset is my favorite aspect of this product. I think it looks lovely against skin and highlights the breasts in a beautiful way. This detail is black on both sides and has a swirling pattern, much like the detail on the red side of the corset fabric.



The thong included is pretty simple. It is basic black with a slightly silky feeling. It is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, so it isn't the most comfortable material, but I don't think it will be noticeably uncomfortable. The back of the thong is a thicker than the usual string-thongs that come with lingerie, a little over an inch wide. The tag states it should be hand-washed in cold water and line dried, but I honestly just throw it in the wash with my normal clothes and haven't had a problem. The corset should be hand-washed with a lingerie cleaner or mild detergent and line-dried.

Personally, I had an issue with sizing with this product. However, I don't think this would run small for typical buyers, I'm just a bit larger in this company's sizing chart. It was easily resolved, though. I just went out to a craft store and bought some black ribbon to replace the lacing and make it a bit larger.

Once I had the corset laced-up with the new ribbon, it was easy to put on and take off. I have no other complaints aside from the line of space down the front, but I can just wear a black slip under this to resolve that flaw.
