My partner and I own several sets of sexy lingerie, but this one takes the cake. We have see through sets, fishnets, cute pink ones, the whole nine yards, but this is the outfit we keep coming back to. It arrived wrapped in tissue paper, devoid of any cheesy plastic bag or sexy photo, simple and unashamed. Cutting off the tag, my girlfriend was instantly compelled to try it on, and I was just as eager to get it on her.

The babydoll top is corset style and has a lace up, translucent cover for the breasts. It is dark, so the see through effect is really only if you’re trying. It is however, very easy to undo the front lace and take a better look. The corset is laced up through several holes in the back, with thin ribbon that was a bit to short for us. We removed the ribbon from the top hole, and had no problems from then on. If you wanted to replace the ribbon with something longer or more sturdy, we certainly wouldn’t blame you.

Additionally, for those who don’t feel like unlacing and re-lacing the corset every time, there are two metal clasps in the front for easy access. My partner and I usually choose to leave the corset on, but it’s your show. The clasps are easy to undo, but require two hands to do so. There are four flaps around the bottom edges that make something of a skirt, which depending on how you position them could be very revealing, or leave a bit more to the imagination.

The panties are very nice as well. They are g-string panties with red nylonn(or something like that, it’s not soft fabric) outlined in black. The crotch is not cotton either. Yes, they’re not top of the line, but neither of us felt that this took away from the experience. They fit comfortably and are true to size, which always helps. I would say that the panties are the least remarkable part of the set, but are a cut above nonetheless.

The materials and construction are high quality, as you would expect with a higher priced set. There were no sewing errors or tears, or anything like that, which are common with a lot of budget lingerie. It feels soft, sleek and sexy. Even in closer more intimate positions, there was no friction or anything to take your mind off of what’s at hand. The colors are dark; it’s much more of a crimson than a bright red as seen in the pictures. That being said, the colors are quite flattering. The black stripes are seams in the fabric that provide some sturdiness to the corset, but not as much as boning would have. Nevertheless, it still functions and holds up very well.

If you read nothing else in this review, pay attention to this: Buy This Set. It is excellently crafted, durably made, and has the magical ability to empower my partner more than she has ever been. Ladies, you will feel sexy in this outfit. Men, you will enjoy every minute of it, and probably won’t want her to take it off. It is pricier than most sets, but it’s worth the upgrade. The materials are solid, and it looks like this will last through some wear and tear. There are no formal washing instructions, but like all satin products, you should either hand wash or wash on delicate with cold water. Also, if you wash the top, remember to close the metal hooks to save yourself the noise and possible damage. If you have $50 to spend on this, I urge you to do so. As a direct quote from my girlfriend, and all you really need to know, “I feel Hot!”.

Even with all the new sets my partner and I have reviewed, this is still our favorite. It gets hard sometimes to pick which set to pull out, but this has become our default. We recommended it then, and we recommend it now. Its more expensive than some, but its well worth it for the quality.
