Wanna Make The Drag Queens Jealous?

Then get yourself this corset and wear it out! It's silky to the touch, conforms to your body amazingly, and is almost infinitely adjustable. Simply a must have.

extremely useful review
My favorite bar caters to gay men, and once a month they put on a drag show, and I'm always jealous of their outfits, because that lingerie always seems to look better on them than it would on me. But one night I wore this corset there, and for once, I made a few of them jealous!

The packaging was pretty minimal, being a plastic bag and pink tissue paper. Care and materials are listed on a tag on the top, but the thong only has a size tag. Your corset and thong are both made from 100% acetate (exclusive of the trim, although the trim material doesn't seem to be listed), and should be hand washed in warm water and allowed to air dry.

I got mine in a size small, which Coquette says that I should be between size 4-6, with a B cup, a 34-36" bust, 26-28" waist, and 36-38" hips. Personally I'm about 5'2, I weigh about 105, around my bust measures 31" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 25" waist with 33" hips and wear a B cup. It fit me like a glove.

For the other sizes available, Coquette has the following measurements listed:
Medium: size 8 - 10, B cup, 36-38" bust, 26 - 30" waist, 38 - 40" hips
Large: size 12 - 14, C cup, 38 - 40" bust, 30 - 32" waist, 40 - 42" hips
X Large: size 14 - 16, D cup, 42 - 44" bust, 34 - 36" waist, 44 - 46" hips
1X/2X: size 18 - 22, D cup, 46 - 50" bust, 38 - 42" waist, 46 - 52" hips

Since the lacing in the back allows a lot of wiggle room, I'd feel comfortable with ordering a size down if you're right on the border between sizes.

The corset itself is a lovely more muted fuchsia with black accents. The front two pieces of boning on either side of the front closure have black lace and a pink ribbon, where all the other pieces of plastic boning just have the appearance of being sewn in. That same black lace and pink ribbon accent runs around the entirety of the top portion and is topped with a black ruffly mesh. The front closure is made up of 6 metal hook and eyes and the back features a black ribbon that makes the corset adjustable. The ribbon is threaded through a series of metal eyelets that seem held in pretty darn well. In the back it's only about 11" tall, but in the front there's a dip on the bottom, making that closer to 15" long. Unless you've got an unusually long torso, you're going to end up with the bottom fighting with a belt buckle if you wear it as a shirt.

Adjusting will be a huge pain in the butt if you're doing it alone, but not entirely impossible. You just have to untie the top ribbon and loosen it til you can comfortably wear it while it's buttoned up in the front, then take it off and make your adjustments accordingly. It is of course much easier to have someone else adjust it for you, but still easy enough to do on your own.

The thong, well, kinda sucks. It's not a g-string, and doesn't situate itself very well anywhere, and it's not very accommodating either. Laid flat it stretches up to 16", but I don't think it would be very comfortable on anybody with hips any bigger than 35" or so. It's made of the same satiny material as the corset, and lacks a crotch liner. It also doesn't seem to cover the vagina fully or lay comfortably at all.

For the most part, the corset seems pretty well made. There were a few stray threads here and there, but that didn't really bother me. What did bother me was the fraying at the bottom in the front that I ran into after it was rubbing against my jeans for a few hours. I knew the material could be finicky, but I thought it would have taken a bit longer. Here's a picture of the frayed material:

You can either hang this corset in your closet from the attached hanging strips, or keep it folded in a drawer. Just make sure that you don't fold against the boning, as that will likely destroy your fancy new top.
Experience
Yay for Coquette not overloading something with bows! But in all seriousness, I loved this top. Not the thong though, I wore it a few times just for my fiance for the novelty of wearing panties that matched the top, but for the most part, I wear another pair of panties with it. My only issues with it: how easily the material seemed to fray, and how far down my back the tied ribbon sits, although that can be fixed by tucking it into the top of the corset.

When I wore it out, I wore it with a bra that made it look as though it had straps, and if your bra falls low enough in the back, nobody will ever be able to tell that you're wearing it. Another reason I wore the bra was not only for a little extra lift, but also because the material is just thin enough that you could see that my nipples are pierced with barbells, and that I just didn't feel like advertising to the world.

Another awesome point to this corset is that it made my smaller boobs look awesome. Not overflowing by any means, but certainly larger than most lingerie sets normally offer.

The longest I've worn it at one time was about 7 hours, and it stayed relatively comfortable the whole time. My breathing was restricted a little bit, but I had somebody adjust it for me a little bit, so that helped. Note: if you can't breathe, it's too tight.

I got a lot of compliments from both men and women alike, gay and straight on both ends. The women all thought that it was gorgeous and wanted to know where I got it from, and a few of the gay men happen to also be performers in the Sinful Sunday Drag Review that that bar hosts the last Sunday of every month were also curious where it came from, because they wanted it too.

And this is the sight that made the drag queens jealous ;)
Follow-up commentary
I've gained weight, relaced this thing a bunch of times, and still love it. I do wish it were a bit longer on the sides, but it's comfortable and has surprisingly held up to the abuse I've put it through.
