Betty's jelly bumble bee - strap-on vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by KaylaDropDown

A BBC Turned Pink.

I feel like this isn't worth it, because you have to put too much work into worrying about the strap-on staying together.
I found it very disappointing when I wanted to have an adventure with my partner trying new positions that are out of the normal, aside from doggy-style and missionary. I feel that being a girl, you shouldn't have to use lubrication to get the toy inside.
Veins, flexible, feels like the real deal
Poorly made straps, rough pelvic stimulation, awkward battery pack.

The best way for this strap-on to be used comfortably is doggy-style or missionary.
At the bottom of the "shaft" it has jelly prongs that are made for the "giver" so they can receive stimulation to the person they are giving it to.
I would advise to put a condom on it, because it is very thick and long, and with its flexibility it might be hard getting it in at first without some sort of lubrication.
When you are wearing the harness and want someone on top to ride you, I find it painful because of the prongs.
The straps are "snap-buttons" and the dildo part itself is rather heavily weighted.
In order for you to have a successful time, it's better to just keep the sex simplified.
The veins on the shaft really help when you're working it and trying to hit certain spots in your partner's vagina.
This would be a good product to use with girl-on-girl, or girl-on-guy if a guy really wants to know what it's like to experience anal, but not with an actual guy, because it looks and feels somewhat very realistic.

Material / Texture

I was left with more of a let-down impression from this. The idea seemed hotter than the actual act.
It's made of rubber and has that slight rubber smell, which isn't too arousing. The texture would add a lot of extra stimulation if the straps weren't made so poorly, because when it's inside, it feels close to the real deal.
After my partner used it on me and I climaxed I licked it off almost forgetting it was a strap-on.
I think the vibration part with the jelly prongs could use some work, just because they are too firm and not soft enough. Since the vibrating part goes up very high, it keeps you just as excited as the receiver.
    • Flexible

    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

The size of this toy definitely isn't for beginners; it's huge!
The overall design is a great idea; it just needs to be tweaked with a bit more.
I like the flexibility of it. If the harnesses were more reliable, the weight of the shaft would be more sturdy, and I wouldn't have to stop every few moments from going too fast from having the buttons un-snap.
If size matters to someone, then the strap-on definitely has a lot of males beat by far.

Functions / Performance / Controls

You don't have a whole lot of control with this toy, because of its heavy weight and poorly-made straps.
The vibrations are positioned for the pelvic area, and the vibrations are very strong and loud.
Definitely make sure nobody else is home, because there is no hiding that sound with a door.
Simple positions are best when you use the strap-on.
The prongs need to be less firm, and perhaps thinner as well.
It's great for making it feel real between you and your partner.
I like the flexibility, because it helps hit the G-spot. I also like the texture because you can feel more of the ridges, and it's not slick.
The controls are very easy, but somewhat awkward in some cases, because there is nowhere to really put it and you have to hold it so it doesn't break off.
This isn't a good waterproof toy because of the electronic parts.
    • Multiple settings
    • Not enough variety
    • Powerful

Care and Maintenance

Because of the veins and rubber, I find it a little more difficult to just clean it and put it away.
If you get a lot of cum on it, then you have to put work into cleaning, it just like you did with getting it on there in the first place.
I store it in a tupperware box; I find that more suitable due to the fact that it is rather large, and also for cleaning purposes.
Warming lube is a great choice with this toy because of its thickness, and anal play may be followed with this toy.
    • High maintenance

After the first time my partner and I used this toy, we agreed that we both had a lot of good feelings with it inside us because of the texture. The second time, we snipped the battery pack, and made new home-made straps so it could be more fulfilling for the both of us.

The second time was more intense, and I was begging for more.
It was a tight fit, but very much worth it. I found taking it from behind was the best to hit my G-spot.
There weren't any clitoral orgasms, so if that's how you or the other person has an orgasm, I wouldn't recommend this one in particular.
