G-spot strap-on vibrator discontinued

This bee's got some buzz, but a bit to much bumble for me

A useless harness but an okay toy, if this were made of silicone I might love it, but sadly its not and the fun of vibrating nubs just can't make up for the issues that come with a jelly.

Pros
One piece design holds together, insertable length is really nice.
Cons
Jelly material and faulty battery compartment make this a back up only kinda toy.

extremely useful review
Betty's Jelly Bumble bee by California exotic is an interesting toy. I am a huge fan of strap ons and felt I just had to give this a try. Its packaging is very non discreet and fairly useless for storage. The toy itsself is that mystery jelly material of which I am not a fan. Not only is it less body safe than silicone but it had a definite chemical smell to it. The size was very nice however, about seven inches of insertable length and a nice diameter. Its description says 2" diameter but mine measured smaller, about 1 3/4, which is still plenty of girth in my opinion. It comes with an attached harness but the straps are rather flimsy so I cut the harness off and used it with my own. Since the jelly material is unknown I use a condom with this toy, an extra large fits snuggly around the entire thing, including the nubby base.

Those nubs are nice, I am a huge fan of the Venus bumble bee but sometimes find the larger firmer nubs uncomfortable. The Betty jelly bee has smaller nubs, much softer and far more comfortable when grinding into a partner. I also found when comparing the two that the Betty jelly is one solid piece while the Venus is two (and I have had two break at the seam so far). The vibrations are felt on both ends but not as strongly down the shaft of the insertable side. It is powered by three AA batteries but the battery compartment is too large and doesn't hold them securely. The controller has two slide switches (one on each side) to control the vibration on both ends, the settings are okay but only vary by intensity, you cannot adjust the rhythm. It is not terribly loud and even at its highest settings not terribly intense. I tried using this as a solo toy for gender bending masterbation but it just doesn't quite work.

Care and cleaning of this toy will be similar to any elctronic jelly toy, you can't immerse it and you can't use strong cleaners (I.E. bleach) so I went with soap and water. Being porous this is definately a one person toy, and a condom should really be used either way. Storage for this will have to be in a seperate container or bag to keep the material from reacting with other toys, and it is a lint magnet. The flaw in the battery compartment is actually a bonus for storage as the batteries fall out of place and it does not turn on in the bag.

Overall this toy will probably hold up better than the Venus Bumble Bee because of its one piece construction. Its longer insertable length is nice but it has less intense vibration make grinding more necessary. Overall I like the Venus better but this will work as a back up for when I break yet another.
Experience
I like to peg, and I love the strap on in all its forms. I prefer ones that give me something on my end and the Betty jelly does: small nubs that vibrate and tickle my clit while I'm pounding the boy from behind. This is soft enough to slam him hard without bruising myself but that same softness means I need to grind on him to really feel the nubs, not necessarily a bad thing. He loves the longer length of the Betty jelly over the Venus and the girth is just fine for someone with experience in anal play (or for any level of vaginal penetration). The attached harness is useless but it comes off easy and this toy fits snuggly in any standard harness. If the jelly material is a concern put a condom over the nub end and then another extra large over the insertable length all the way down and over to keep the bottom condom in place. I just used a condom on the insertable side, as I found the condom on my side made the nubs uneffective. It left me a bit plasticy smelling (and tasting) but I am hoping with time and use that will fade from the toy, and it washed off me no problem.

As for the receiving end, this is a softer toy, long but thin so with some patience should be okay for those new at anal play. For vaginal receiving it is very straight, so not much good in hitting the G spot, but the length is nice. The texture is smooth enough for even the most sensitive but for those who like things on the girthy side this might leave you wanting a bit more. The vibrations can be felt all the way down but not very strong, this is a plus or minus depending on what you like. One final considration in this kind of toy, condoms prevent infections from spreading by forming a barrier to fluids, this toy, even condomed will allow fluids to run down the shaft and onto the external genitalia of the wearer, not a problem for me but something to think about.
Follow-up commentary
I have kept this in my toy bag, but due to the jelly material find myself unwilling to use it. That combined with battery case problems (the batteries do not stay in place and the case is far to large) make this a waste of space and money.
