There are six different vibrating functions. The functions are thrusting, teasing, turning, steady, and a combination. The thrusting vibration feels like it is going up and down just like a penis. The teasing vibration drives me crazy since it will vibrate every 2 seconds with a small pause in between each vibration. The turning vibration feels like it is going around and around. With each function, you can adjust the speed. The lowest speed is great for getting wet and aroused. I personally only like the steady function which is the first one. It feels just like one big vibration on my clitoris. The steady function set on the highest speed was sometimes too intense. I loved it though. I honestly can't say if you leave the batteries in the toy if it will or will not drain the batteries. I always took my batteries out of my toy even though this was the only toy I had that took AAA batteries.

The controls remind me of a computer mouse. In order to get to a different function, you have to press the silver button. If you press too quickly or too hard, it will skip pass the function you want. I would get aggravated having to go through all of the functions to turn it off if it skipped the off function. This happened a lot to me. If you are worried about someone walking in on you and catching you masturbating, I would not suggest this toy. To adjust the speed, you just slide the scroll wheel on the controller. There is also a really long flexible cord that attaches to the toy. The toy is very easy to clean. I suggest using a toy cleaner since the toy is not waterproof. I made the mistake of using water and soap instead of a toy cleaner which is why my toy stopped working sooner than it should have.

The toy is packaged in a plastic case that opens very easily, and there is no cutting involved in opening the package. There is no user's instruction manual included. There is really no need for an instruction manual.
