Silk touch egg vibe - egg discontinued by Topco Sales - review by OpenMindedInOhio

It's no secret: I like my eggs, bullets, and clitoral stimulation toys. When I saw the Silk Touch Egg Vibe, by Grrl Toyz, I thought it sounded like a great addition to my collection.

When the toy arrived, I opened the package and removed the contents. Inside the package was the egg and a multifunction control pack. The vibe takes 3 AAA batteries. I placed the batteries and plugged the egg into the control pack. This egg vibe is available in purple, or sea foam (which was my selection).

The control button is very sensitive and the first speed is pretty basic. There is a dial that you can turn to increase the intensity. The second setting is a pulsation which did absolutely nothing for me except annoy me. The third setting is a pulsation with a longer vibration pause. The next three settings are also pulsations. The first setting does have potential, but for me, the other settings were distracting.

This toy is two and a half inches and can be used either for clitoral stimulation or vaginally inserted. It is soft to touch with comfortable ribbing. I found that the clitoral stimulation was more enjoyable to me than vaginal. The lights on the control pack were bright and easy to see. The cord is coiled and has good stretching capabilities. The toy is latex free and is discrete in size.

I would however advise disconnecting the egg from the control pack when not in use. The on button is sensitive and can turn on without much effort. The Silk Touch Egg Vibe is a fairly quiet toy with better than average power.

This is a toy that I will keep around and experiment with. I believe that it has great potential to become a great back up toy, but certainly I don't expect it to become my favorite.
