Marvel - rabbit vibrator by Evolved Novelties - review by Ciao.

As a basic, but well designed, dual action vibrator - the Marvel is a toy that would really work for anyone. But it works most effectively for women looking for a great introduction to a rabbit style of vibrators. With two motors my partner and I found that the Marvel provided excellent (if not extremely powerful) stimulation for her both internally and on her clitoris.

When using it on me (a male) I found that the second motor made for some interesting extra stimulation, but that the curve and design of the toy was definitely more oriented towards a female anatomy. Since most of the toy is insertable, with only the control area left to grip, we found it more enjoyable to have me maneuver the toy while she enjoyed it than for her to play solo; but it is still an excellent solo toy. The waterproof feature means that this toy is an excellent choice for fun in the shower, and if anything that is where we found it to be most uniquely useful.

The Marvel is rubber, and like many rubber toys it came scented on arrival (a vaguely berry like smell to be exact). While some might find this off-putting, I bet others will like it. We found that after a couple washings the smell faded enough to not really be a big deal.

Like most rubber toys the Marvel is flexible and soft, and the size and design make this is a very easily accommodated toy by just about anyone. We found the smooth texture and soft rubber were excellent for use and required only a little lubrication to work wonderfully, but for those looking for texture this may not be as interesting.

Evolved seems to have put a high emphasis on the aesthetic design of their toys, no matter what the price range, and this toy definitely shows it. The toy is sleek and beautifully, boldly colored (we have the purple model).

This toy is relatively small as compared with many of the other vibrators we have encountered. The small slim insertable end is absolutely perfect for those just starting in the world of vibrators, and enough to work for those with some experience as well.

The shape does not add a great deal of stimulation since the gentle curve of the toy essentially just bends with your own contours, but it is very comfortable, and the dual action nature of the toy makes the focus less on shape and more on distributing vibrations to both motors.

This is a quiet and a little underpowered toy, but again the Marvel's main appeal seems to be for someone interested in trying out a dual action vibrator; and for that it is marvelous. The controls are simple, just a button on the bottom that cycles through 3 different types/intensities of vibration.

The control is a little twitchy, and we found ourselves turning it on by accident, but it works well and makes for easy changing of speeds if you are playing solo. While the vibrations are not especially strong, the double motors on the toy mean that they are distributed well over the most sensitive tissue.

The weaker vibrations make for a quieter toy, so those looking for something discreet, may find this perfect for their needs. In all, the best feature of the toy for us was its waterproof ability. While we have a handful of waterproof vibes every new addition to that category is a plus for us.

Rubber means porous, so a condom is great if you want to keep it clean and germ free. Other than that caveat the toy is relatively easy to keep clean. A mild toy cleaning solution, or simple soap and water, should keep it looking good. Luckily the Marvel comes with its own case (great feature!), so storage away from lint and other particles is as easy as sticking it back in its case.

I am a sucker for good packaging, and Evolved certainly scores some extra points with the Marvel on this category. The Marvel comes in a well designed colorful metal box, that doubles as storage for the toy in between uses. The metal box is absolutely perfect both for presentation (it really looks like a neat little toy in the box's plastic window!), and for keeping the toy lint free and clean between uses.
