Basically Boring.

Fun Factory’s Aries vibrator is a big yawn for me. It’s loud, weak, and just plain boring. There are a lot better options available for the price. I’m glad I got this for free! The only thing I like about it is the package, free lubricant, and the silicone. I’d only recommend it to you if you’re a die hard collector of Aries paraphernalia.

Use

Fun Factory’s Astrovibes Aries is a traditional styled vibrator. It’s designed after a ram that is the Aries sign. It’s a dark red and made out of silicone. It’s easy to use and moderately powerful. However, there are lots about it that turned me off. It isn’t waterproof, it attracts lint and hair like crazy, and it didn’t have enough power for me.

Aries is designed for internal vaginal stimulation. I don’t suggest it for anal play because there is no flared base. You can also use it for external stimulation on the clitoris.

Overall, I wouldn’t really suggest this vibrator for the price. It is silicone, but it’s a little loud for the power it offers. I wasn’t too thrilled with it during use. Plus, it’s hard to clean.

Material / Texture

Aries is made out of silicone. It is safe to use and non-porous. It rates a ten out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s Safety Scale. Aries is flexible at the top of the shaft. Here is the vibrator bent.

Aries’ silicone has no smell to it. It is smooth to the touch with barely any texture. The ram design offers some texture, but nothing too intense. There is quite a bit of drag to it so be sure to use a lubricant. There are seams on the toy, but they are only there to define the ram. They weren’t noticeable during use. It tends to attract lots of hair and lint, which drives me nuts!

Design / Shape / Size

Aries is traditional in design with a straight shaft and a pointed top. The head of the vibrator is a ram. There are two horns, two eyes, a nose, and mouth. I first couldn’t tell that it had a face, but once I turned it around to face me I could see it. The design is cute, but fluid gets stuck in the little grooves that make up the ram. Needless to say, it’s a nightmare to clean. Aries is a total of 7 ½” long with an insertable length of 6 ½”. It has a circumference of 5”. Aries is average in size and suitable for most users.

The whole toy is average in size so it isn’t too hard to hide. If you wanted to travel with a traditional vibrator, this could be a good pick.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Aries is powered by two AA batteries. Simply open the bottom compartment and place them in. The toy is operated by a simple spin dial. It is black and red in color. You can control which speed you choose whether low or high. The dial is pretty easy to use. Aries only offers steady vibration with no patterns. This vibrator is very simple and not very powerful. It is moderately powerful at best. The vibrations travel fairly well through the toy. The motor feels like it’s around the ram’s horns. The vibrations are very buzzy. I would rate its power at around a 2.5. However, I’m going to round it up to a vroom of 3. I didn’t find it powerful enough for my personal use. I always need a vroom of at least 4. For a toy being so weak, it’s pretty loud. I’m giving it a bee of 3. I was hesitant to use this toy in the first place because of its noise. It is not as loud when inserted, but still noticeable.

Aries is fairly easy to insert because of its pointed tip. The ram design makes this toy a little hard to thrust with. I wish it were slightly curved to help stimulate the G-spot. As I mentioned before, fluid gets stuck in the ram design. It drives me nuts!

Care and Maintenance

Aries can be washed in warm water and soap. It is harder to clean because fluid gets stuck in the grooves. Aries isn’t technically waterproof, so be sure to only wash the silicone body and not the cap. To sterilize Aries, you can wash it in a 10 % bleach solution. Don’t use a silicone based lubricant with Aries. It could ruin the material.

Packaging

I always love Fun Factory’s packaging, and this was no exception. Aries is placed in a plastic clam shell. It is in a see through box with blue on the ends. The back is closed with a magnetic piece. When you open the back, it shows the main features of this vibrator. You can use the box for storage. I think I like the box more than the toy.

The box came with a brochure on other Fun Factory products and a sample of lubricant. I always get excited that Fun Factory includes some of their lubricant. I like it!

Personal comments

I’m rating this vibrator 2 stars out of five. The only thing I really like about it is the silicone. It is weak, loud, attracts hair and lint, and isn’t waterproof. It’s also really hard to clean. I’m disappointed with this Fun Factory vibrator. I have other toys from them that I love, but this isn’t one of them.

Great job, when they had these for free orders the one that was supposed to come with my order was out of stock so I didn't end up with any of the Astrovibe line. Oh well, sounds like they're not that good anyway. Thanks for sharing.
