I've never been so in love with a vibe as I am with this little bullet. You're thinking, okay, it's based on a porn that's banking on the trendiness of pirates right now, so (based on the price, even) how can it possibly be anything other than the adult equivalent of a cheap action figure?

Like I was, my friend, you too are wrong.

This shiny little treasure packs a serious punch. From clits to nipples to a sore neck, the five-function feature of the pendant is sure to thrill. It's so powerful that I was able to stimulate myself through tight jeans with it, and it was amazing. Don't just chalk it up for a clit toy, though. Because of the material it's made out of, and its shape, it would be very easy to sanitize, so using it for non-penetrative (or at least partially penetrative) anal play is definitely a possibility.

This vibe is as gorgeous as it is powerful. It's made out of beautifully molded hard, glossy plastic in eye-catching metallics. The material is utterly nonporous, no worries about cleaning or sharing. Though quite raised, the molding of skulls and filigree on the vibe itself didn't add to the sensory experience.

The vibe itself is hourglass bullet-shaped with a pointed tip, perfect for pinpoint stimulation. Because of the shape, I can see this being used anally, inserted halfway to the narrow 'waist' of the bullet and left there. Obviously it would be a bad idea to insert this vibe farther than that- it might be very, very difficult to remove and the chain could cause potential damage.

Although the beautiful molded designs didn't do anything for the way it felt, it really does add to it visually. This looks and feels in every way like a high quality piece. It's well constructed and the controls are completely subtle and work perfectly.

Jewelry-speaking, the jump rings that attach the pendant to the chain are very sturdy, I couldn't bend them at all without jewelry pliers, and the chain itself is flexible, sparkling, and lovely. It's a glamorous, elegant piece and worth every bit of its price, not to mention utterly discreet. Hang it from the rearview, your jewelry box, tuck it in your purse, whatever! It's so pretty and so unassuming!

This little baby is pretty loud, though I think most of that comes from the rattling of the rings/chain against the end of the vibe. The vibe is controlled by the bezel at the top, much like springing open the cover of a pocket watch. You push it to begin the cycle of five functions:

1) Low
2) High
3) Low Pulsating
4) High Pulsating
5) Short Escalation (whum whum WHUM! whum whum WHUM!)
(6, off.)

However, you have to push kind of hard, so it can be a pain to control during use (especially if lubed up, as I discovered myself when it slipped right off my yoni and tumbled off the bed.)

Caring for this little dear couldn't have been more simple- I just wiped it down good with a baby wipe and stashed it in my drawer. I'd love to get a little sumptuous velvet pouch for it to keep it in and crank up the classy factor even more!

Being made of hard plastic, it's compatible with silicone and water based lubes, as well as oils.

The vibe, as pictured, comes in a simple, small, clear plastic box with piratical designs on the back. It's very elegant in an adventure on the high seas kind of way, and I would adore receiving something this fun as a gift. The box is obviously not ideal for storage, however, and should be recycled.

I myself own the gold one, for the sole purpose of attaching it to a vintage string of glass pearls with a gold clasp that I have. The ball chain it comes with is nice itself, but I wanted to class it up a little (and there's nothing like the feeling of pearls rolling across your skin!)

I put a different (actual, jewelry) pendant on the gold ball chain it comes with, and wear it around, it's actually really pretty! This toy is like two gifts in one!
