G-plus gets a G-

A fantastic attempt at dual stimulation, the G-plus falls quite short of an orgasmic experience. Although I did end up climaxing by placing the flat end (aka the end without either protrusion) on my clitoris, this toy was a failure with respect to double penetration. While it technically worked, this toy felt awkward and floppy. It also made my massager louder, which is definitely a huge negative.

Use

The G-plus is an attachment transforms your Hitachi or Ideal massager (or as the packaging says "most other ball head massagers) into a dual action stimulator. This device can be used clitorally and vaginally. I wouldn't recommend using this toy anally because the toy is made out of TPR (thermo-plastic rubber), which is more porous than silicone. So bacteria could get trapped inside. Obviously the best part of this toy is that it is a dual stimulator. This means that you can stimulate your clit AND vagina (and maybe your g-spot for some users). You can also use the flat end of the device (aka the end without the protrusions) for clitoral and/or whole body stimulation.

Material / Texture

The G-plus is made out of TPR. It is phthalate and latex free. It's really as smooth as rubber gets, but don't expect the softness of silicone. When I rub my finger against the material, there is a very slight almost sticky sensation. My best textural description is: it feels like a realllly smooth eraser.

Because TPR is flexible, this toy is suitable for both beginners and advanced users. The protrusions are also fairly small, so they are easy to maneuver in the body.

TPR is more porous than silicone, so bacteria can be trapped inside it. If you are planning on sharing this toy, please use a condom. Better yet, don't share this toy because it is unlikely that a condom will stay on this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

The distinctive feature about the G-Plus is its two prongs which can be used for dual (or mono?) stimulation. If you like the flickering of rabbit ears against your clit, you are likely to enjoy this design. Both the vaginal (aka the longer end) and clitoral (aka the shorter) pieces are very very flexible, so when the massager is vibrating, both pieces flutter like fast rabbit ears (on uppers of course...).

The dimensions of this toy are:
Entire Circumference: 3"
Circumference Small Piece: Not given, estimated at 3/4"
Circumference Large Piece: 1"
Length: 6"
Insertable Length: 4" (many might be disappointed with this)

While it would be hard to justify making a vibrating toy with this design (with the power of the Hitachi it would likely mar your insides!), I would have liked to see the rubber ::slightly:: firmer. I would have also appreciated more girth in the larger end and a slightly softer material for the clitoral end. I also didn't like the way the larger end was shaped. The end was sort-of bulbus, and then it tapered off into a rectangular shape. This felt odd inside my vagina.

If you travel with your massager, then this toy is portable. Theoretically you could use this toy without your wand, but I don't really see the reason to. Rubbing my clit against this toy without the massager makes me feel like I'm erasing it! And that would be unfortunate.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy slips on the head of the massager. When you turn the massager on it vibrates at different intensities. Pretty simple. The vibrations are concentrated at the base of the toy, near the head of the massager (obviously when the device is turned on). Never fear - the vibrations definitely carry into the external protrusions!

Again, the two protrusions can be used for double penetration. Or they can be placed on any surface of the body. The back of the toy can be rested on the entire clitoris for a deeper sensation.

The rubber sleeve itself is waterproof. But unless it is used on a WATERPROOF MASSAGER, please don't use this toy anywhere near water.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning this toy is extremely simple! Just wash with soap and water, or clean with your favorite toy cleaner. Do no bleach/boil. Since this toy is made out of TPR, it can trap bacteria. I recommend using a condom with this toy, although it might be awkward.

Packaging

The G-Plus comes in a well simple plastic box. I use this box as a storage case since it is the shape of the attachment. The box has an illustration on the back depicting the placement of the toy on your massager. I'll summarize: You put the toy on the massage head. I don't remember if the toy came with a manual. But if it did, I threw it out.

Personal comments

I do like the overall design of this toy. I also like what this toy was ::trying:: to do. After I purchased my Hitachi, I instantly wanted a dual attachment. So the G-plus seemed like perfect addition to my collection. However, I was disappointed.

Before I give my opinion I feel obligated to tell you that I don't like rabbit vibrators very much. I like controlling the pressure to both my g-spot and my clitoris, and doing this to my liking is very difficult with a rabbit. So I'm predisposed to dislike this toy.

This toy felt like a rabbit-gone-wrong. I wanted the clitoral piece to be shorter and the g-spot piece to be girthier. I also wish this toy was made out of silicone so it would be smoother and sterilizable. In the end this toy missed my hot spots completely. Although the clit piece did hit my clit, it gave me the wrong type of stimulation by hitting the wrong places with the wrong frequencies (for me aka my personal preference, might not be yours) so I didn't really get off with it. However, when I pressed the flat end to my clit, I did orgasm. Although this orgasm was due to the strength of the massager, NOT due to the awesomeness (or lack thereof) of this toy.

Experience

Truth time. I really didn't this toy, but you could have guessed that from my personal comments/title.

Just so you know, my favorite attachment is the G-Whiz. I also have the G-Whizzard, but I don't like it as much. I think I covered pretty much everything!
Follow-up commentary
The G-plus massager attachment has found a new home in my garbage can. It took up a lot of space considering I never used it. I did try it once more and I just couldn't get into it.
