I'd definitely dance with this fella

The Fun Factory Tango is a battery operated, silicone, dual stimulation vibrator. It is best used for G-spot and clitoral stimulation but could also be used for p-spot and and perineum. Deep, rumbly vibrations make their way all the way to the tip of the toy. The controls are easy to function and include a 'booster' button for super vibes at the right moment. It's battery operated and supposed to be water-proof but I didn't want to risk it.

Use

This is a dual stimulation vibrator, designed for penetration and external stimulation simultaneously. Personally I much prefer it for my G-spot and my clit, but it could also be used for anal(prostate spot for men)/perineum stim. I guess you could use it for massage but it works so well to produce G-spot and/or clitoral orgasms why bother?
I think its a great toy for beginners, cheaper than the price of a luxury vibe like the Tiger but still a good example of a rabbit style vibrator. It's also so nicely shaped and flexible that it will adapt to many different external vs internal shapes. The Tango has both buzzy and rumbly vibrations, so anyone will be pleased, regardless of preference.
It's more suited for solo play since it's dual stim and doesn't leave much room for a partner to get their hands in there. Mutual masturbation is one of my favourite activities with as many people as possible and this would be great for that because you can operate it with one hand, leaving the other free to explore another body or bodies.

Material / Texture

Mine is a deep bright blue but it also comes in smooth, scent and taste free, red or white silicone. Silicone has a safety rating of 10 because it is hypo-allergenic, phthalates and latex free and totally non-porous. Because it is impermeable, as long as you clean it properly between users and orifices it should be safe to share. If you are unsure, slip a condom over it. Either way you won't need to worry about transference of STD's or bladder/yeast infections etc.
The silicone is cushy, not as soft as a Tantus VIP super soft, but most of the body of the toy is just silicone, with no hard plastic underneath, which is why you can feel the motor easily. This also make the shaft quite flexible- meaning it will fit a greater number of anatomies. It's funny- with this much silicone, often the vibes loss their intensity by the time they reach the end of the toy, but not the Tango 111. I find the tip has some of the strongest vibes in the toy , when the boost button is pushed. The only texture are the two creases along each side- which I explain in the design section.

The handle is plastic with a silicone swirl all over it, I guess to make it easier to grip. Plastic has a safety rating of 8.

Design / Shape / Size

I actually really like the design of the Tango III, I'm not sure what the first two Tangos were like but for a battery operated vibrator it works pretty well. It's what we call a 'rabbit style' vibe because the design is based on a dual stimulation vibrator that generally has clitoral stimulator shaped like a rabbit. The ears and sometimes the nose flicker back and forth, or alternatively a dolphins snout or birds beak take this role. I prefer non animal clit arms because the pointy parts annoy my clit. Fun Factory makes a few different dual stims like the Tango III, including the biminiOcean and Paulina.
The shaft of the vibrator is a little longer than I generally like my toys but it somehow works for me. The dimensions are as follows:
Length 8.5"
IL 5.5"
L of handle: 2"
W 1.5"
C mid shaft 4.5" widest at base 5"
the product page says it weighs 13.5 oz

I wouldn't mind if the handle was a little longer; with the Fun Factory G4's they've made the handle hollow so you can grip it by hooking a finger through it.
The shaft is slightly curved which is nice for G-spot access but some may have a problem with the reverse crease that runs down each side of both the shaft and clitoral attachment as its virtually the same as a seam and might irritate some. Personally I like the texture it produces and much prefer it over an entirely rounded form.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy functions fabulously! The entire shaft vibrates and though the motor is down low by the handle, the vibrations easily reach the tip. Unfortunately the clitoral arm isn't quite as sensitive. I guess the placement of the arm and the fact that it doesn't have a bullet inside it, makes it less powerful- more like 3 vrooms. For me this is the exact opposite of what I need. I am happy with 3 vrooms on my G-spot but my clit needs at least 4. Especially because internally I feel the surface area of the entire shaft, whereas with the clit arm only a very small portion is really making contact with it. It's noise level is pretty normal for this kind of toy- about 2 bees.
The controls are fairly simple. 2 are located on the side of the short handle. A plus can either get pressed 6 times or held down until the desired speed is reached, followed by 3 different speeds of pulses, while a minus takes you the other way. On the butt end of the handle is a star button. Hold this down at anytime and you get n extra boost of power- even on the highest speed setting it gets stronger. Some would probably prefer that you could change the strength of the pulse but like most Fun Factory toys you can't. Personally I like all vibrators on their highest setting anyway, with the exception of plug in wands of course. The buttons have proven to need enough pressure to activate them that they don't accidentally shut the vibe off.
The Tango III claims to be fully water-proof and I'm sure that it is splash resistant, but the battery compartment and the seal between the silicone body and the plastic handle just doesn't seem tight enough to keep all moisture out. I refrained from submersing it because it didn't feel safe and I don't use toys underwater that much anyway because I find water-based lube and silicone underwater cause just too much friction.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is a loner- it has issues with it's own kind. It can't come into contact at all with liquid silicone ie. lube but it loves, loves, loves water-based lube like intimate organics defense. Some people also used oil based but I avoid it because it can stain but it's up to you.
Storage is the same- if you store it with other toys make sure they are not silicone or silicone blends - lots of toys with names like 'pure-skin' etc actually have silicone in them- so check your materials if you aren't positive what they are made of. personally I prefer pouches in boxes, but socks work in a pinch.

It's perfectly fine to clean it with hot water and anti-bacterial soap but if you're a clean freak you can use a 10% bleach solution or commercial toy cleaner or wipes.

Alkaline batteries are best, but if you don't use the toy for awhile, make sure you take them out, because moisture can get into the battery compartment and corrode the battery, resulting in battery acid, which can destroy the motor of the vibrator.

Packaging

Though I received this toy from another reviewer and it was sans package, I have worked in a brick and mortar adult store and know how this toy is presented. It comes in a grey and red box with a plastic window showcasing the Tango. It is recyclable and you could store the toy for awhile but eventually taking it in and out of the package would cause the box to deteriorate. There aren't any naked pics on the box, but you can easily see what it is and since it has a clitoral arm it's obviously not just a massager. Symbols run down the side of the box letting you know what's safe and what isn't. Don't try to put the vibrator in your nose or ear! Lol
Fun Factory is German so inside is included instructions in several different languages, plus a small pamphlet style catalogue of their line of vibrators, dildos and cockrings.
Also included is a sample of their lube which they call 'toy fluid' and is a basic water-based lube.

    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

Rabbits really are hit and miss as no two women have identical correlations between their G-spots and clits, which is what dual stim toys were designed for. Another contributor once worked out a way to measure the distance between your two sensi spots and can be found in the forums. Both Fun Factory and Jopen have several non-animal dual stims and when picking new ones to try I reasonably go for the ones whose clit attachments angle away, but I have heard others complain about this exact feature. I've also been positive that a toy would be perfect only to have my anatomy reject its attempts at ergonomics. I suggest if you've done the best research that you can go for something that doesn't have anything that might provide too much pressure. You always want to be able to at least use one part of the toy without the other awkwardly, painfully pressed against you.

Experience

I was surprisingly happy with the Fun Factory Tango, not to be confused with the We-Vibe Tango, which is a lipstick shaped vibrator. I like toys whose clitoral arms angle away from the shafts and don't form a hook in the other direction. If it's curved away, I am generally successful with a rocking technique. I also find that the fun factory Ocean is perfect for this, that's why I chose the Tango. I find that creases such as are on its shaft, are remininscnt of the veins on a penis and I love their affect.
The handle does become slippery mostly ecauseit's too small and the clit part just sn't strong enough but I really do love the shaft..
Follow-up commentary
I wish there was a "I'm really not sure about this one" box because to tell you the truth I haven't been interested in this since I got it. I think it's just that I'm so disillusioned with rabbits I really am!! I must stress though that the clitoral arm is exactly what someone who prefers clit shaft stim or surface area stim over direct stimulation of the tip needs. I say this because it faces away and doesn't clamp down- kegels are meant to clamp clit arms should not. That said i'm keeping this one and will find a way to be patient enough to use it properly and not reach for my wand!!

Great review! I think this looks so interesting, but not having a motor in the clit arm is a deal breaker for me. If the clit vibes were stronger, there are several Fun Factory rabbit-type vibrators I would buy immediately! Also the handle - I hate short handles like that. It seems like putting on a decent-sized somewhat-ergonomic handle would be an easy thing! I have the G4 Tiger and the hole in the handle is nice, but it's still quite short, unfortunately. I love their dense silicone and rumbly vibes.
