Bullets are one of those toys that you will either hate or love. Bullet vibrators are often cheap, but with that low price often comes poor construction, weak vibrations, and swift breakage. Problems like these are bound to make someone who has had too many bad experiences with horrible bullets be permanently turned off by them. Such a shame, because Doc Johnson has produced a bullet vibrator that has so much bang for its buck.

This bullet comes in a variety of colors. Eden provides the bullet in blue or red, but I've also seen it elsewhere in purple, baby blue, pink, and other colors. My personal DJ bullet is white. There is, therefore, a color for anyone who detests pink sex toys or desires to have their vibrator in another color.

There are two components to the toy. There is a controller with four settings (1, 2, 3, and 4) and on and off buttons beside the settings. It is also where the batteries, 2 AA batteries, are contained. The other part of the toy is the bullet vibrator itself, attached to the controller by a 30 inch long cord. The cord's ends are surrounded by o-rings to make it safe to use in the shower. While the cord makes it less likely to get tangled in while using, one must still be careful to not accidentally yank on the cord. If you do so, your bullet is a goner.

You may use the bullet to stimulate your nipples, your clit, your labia, or to insert in the vagina. The first inch or so of the vaginal opening is the most sensitive part of your vaginal canal, so this can provide extreme pleasure. Just be sure not to insert it TOO far into the vagina, unless you like yanking and wasting twenty bucks. The toy is plastic, so just clean with a baby wipe or mild soap and water after use.

The multiple speeds are what keeps me coming back to this toy. There are four increasing speeds, indicated by a light in the setting. You press the on button to increase your speed from minimal, to low, to medium, to high. Unlike other toys where you have to go all the way to the maximum vibration to turn it off, you can use the on and off buttons to turn the toy all the way up, all the way to the middle, and all the way down. The system is not perfect (if you are at full blast after coming you have to click "off" all the way to when it turns off for real), but it's better than coming at a lower speed and having to increase the speed just to turn it off. I personally don't mind.

I only have two real faults with this toy, which also have to do with its multi-speeds. First, as the settings increase, so does the volume. It's not the loudest toy ever, but the buzz is definitely noticeable to whoever else is in the room with you. Second, it is a battery guzzler. It is very irritating to be so close to orgasm only to have the toy die on you.

But that fourth setting... It's so intense, I love it. I've had some of my best orgasms while simultaneously placing Doc Johnson's velvet touch vibe in my vagina and this bullet on my clit. The maximum vibration against your clit will feel like heaven if you require strong vibrations to get off. I can forgive the battery guzzling after it gave me so many good memories.

Overall, even with these flaws, I love this bullet. There are few cheaper toys that can produce such a good time. If you are looking for a good and cheap bullet, this is perfect.

Note: I've just purchased the Eden Fantasys bullet, which has great reviews as well. I'll be back soon to say whether I still prefer this or if I've found my new favorite bullet. :)
