My bottom line is that if I had known what I know now- I wouldn't buy this toy for myself. However, it does work really well for some women. This toy is probably best for women who have a history of g-spot orgasms- rather than women trying to discover them.

This is made of silicone. As such, it is really easy to clean. Just make sure you don't use silicone-based lube with it. Boil it, microwave it, soap and water. It's all good. The bullet is made of hard plastic and is non-porous. The bullet that comes with it is also really easy to clean. There are a couple of trouble spots when cleaning the bullet, though. The side of the bullet has the company logo engraved and I find that secretions get stuck in there. Also, around the rim where the top screws on could be a spot of concern if you were going to share it with a partner with whom you are not fluid bonded. But overall I would say that this toy is shareable. The bullet is water proof for both fun in the tub and easy cleaning.
The bullet that came with it is both removable and VERY powerful. The bullet is quiet, which is always a perk. I don't think that you would notice it in a room if you weren't trying to hear it. The one thing with the bullet is that, for me, it's sort of hard to find size N batteries. That may be different in your area, though. I can always find them at Target and only sometimes at other stores.
