Rechargeable Hitachi style wand - sex toy by EdenFantasys - review by missdizzy

I purchased this about a year ago, in an attempt to find a cordless but cheap Hitachi replacement and maybe phase out my corded version. This charged quickly and easily, and the vibrations were decent (not Hitachi level, but good enough to get the job done). It was lighter than the Hitachi, which I thought I'd like but somehow it just ended up making it feel cheap. The buttons didn't have a satisfying click or push, and maybe that's me being pedantic but it made a difference in how motivated I was to replace this with an identical model once it bit the dust.

I know $40-ish isn't exactly high dollar for a good vibe, but it's expensive enough that I expected more than two months when I used it maybe 1-2 times a week. The Hitachi I was trying to phase out lasted seven years for not even twice the money. Had I not been comparing this to a different product that I was very satisfied with (besides the fact that it had a wire plug) then I might have a gentler perspective on it. I wasn't thrilled but considered it a decent substitute until it met its lackluster end. It was also pretty easy to clean, which is generally the case with wand vibrators, but still - a nice plus compared to some other toys.

All in all, if it had actually lasted more than two months before dying completely I'd say totally worth it. Unfortunately, one day it just wouldn't turn on. I waited a while, tried to get a replacement charger cable in case it wasn't the wand itself, but the replacement also produced no charge. It got banished to the back of my drawer and the Hitachi continued to reign supreme and I finally just realized I wasn't motivated to try and figure out if I could replace it as all, seeing as it had been more than a few months since trying the replacement cable and it was still just collecting dust.

Because I like a strong vibration and the wand was so light, I found I had to press so hard using this toy that my wrist ended up aching a little. I'm not really sure how to suggest fixing that, and I think it won't be a problem for people who prefer a more gentle/sensitive experience, but maybe worth taking into consideration.
