I received this toy as a gift, I was rather skeptical about a 'rechargeable' Hitachi style wand. Let me just say, it exceeded my expectations. This wand, like most wands, is best used for overall body massage, clitoral stimulation, or paired with attachments it can be used internally. It has two buttons (on/off and function), 15 functions, and a flexible TPR head.

The Rechargeable Hitachi Style Wand comes with a standard American wall charger. It requires two hours to reach a full charge and that gives you 45 minutes to 2 hours of play time, depending on what function you use. It's easy to operate, just use the bottom button to turn it on and the top button to cycle through the functions. Because of the wide range of patterns and vibration speeds, this toy is great for users of any experience.

The head of The Rechargeable Hitachi Style Wand sis made of plastic and covered with a TPR sleeve. It has very no give to it. Because there is a sleeve covering the hard plastic, it is very firm and sturdy. There is no smell or taste, but there is a slight texture - similar to the head of the original magic wand. The head is very flexible and can bend in any direction. Keep in mind that TPR is porous, do not share this toy without using a condom.

The body of the wand is ABS plastic and not waterproof in the slightest. The body of the wand feels cheap compared to the body of the original magic wand. At the end of the wand's body you will find a hole, this is the charging port.

The Rechargeable Hitachi Style Wand is designed to match the design of the original magic wand. It is the same size at the original magic wand but is lighter and cordless. Despite it looking ver similar to the original magic wand and only having two buttons like the original, it has 15 different functions. Like the original, it's easy to hold and manipulate, but your arm may get tired if you hold it up for too long.

Because it is so versatile it can be used by beginners and advanced users. Taking it's size into consideration, it may be a bit difficult to find a hiding place for it or to store it. I keep mine in my nightstand. Travelling may also be difficult, but you could put it in one of your luggage cases, just be sure to make sure it can't get turned on during flight, I am not aware of a locking option on this toy.

It can be discreet looking. When someone asks about mine, I just tell them that it is a body massager. I have gotten knowing looks, but others are completely oblivious.

There are two downsides to the performance of this toy: the vibrations get weaker as the toys battery dies and there is no back button for the functions. You use the button closest to the head of the toy to cycle through the patterns and speeds, and then the button towards the end of the wand to turn the toy on and off.

The vibrations are located in the head of the toy but travel through the length of the wand. If you are using this toy on high for long periods of time your clit and hand may go numb. I, personally, get headaches from prolonged use of toys that have travelling vibrations.

My favorite function is the second option. There is low, high, and then it starts the patterns. I'm not big on vibration patterns when I am just wanting to get off, but they are great for teasing! If you aren't paying attention, you may turn off the toy or change the function, which can be irritating. The toy does not have a memory, so every time you turn the toy off and back on again you have to cycle through the functions to get to your favorite.

As far as noise, the toy doesn't get as loud as the original but provides the same strength. It could probably still be heard under a blanket, but not across a room.

As far as taking care of this toy, it is very simple. You can use any lube or toy cleaner with it. You can also use mild soap and warm water. Personally, I clean it with a wet wipe. It can be stored with other toys, but is rather bulky.
