Rechargeable Hitachi style wand - massager by EdenFantasys - review by nanacouture

I originally bought this toy because I was curious about the infamous Hitachi. I've now had it for almost a year and it's one of the best investments I've made!

The wand is a nice bright purple color with a pinkish-purple head. The body is a smooth plastic that is very easy to clean, and the head is a softer, slightly flexible plastic which helps during play. That said, the head is a little difficult to clean, especially the underside of the head and the "neck" that attaches the vibrating portion of the wand to the body. I recommend using cleaning wipes as opposed to a spray; wipes make it easier to clean the nooks and crannies that need extra attention.

The vibration settings are nice and variable. The vibrations are a very "deep" rumble, very different than most other vibrators I've used (predominately bullets). I'm boring in that I'm not a fan of most escalating or pulsating modes, I just want straight, uninterrupted vibrations. That said, for those who *do* like some variability, the wand has ten different modes that all have very different cadences and intensities.

I predominately use this toy for solo play, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works well for foreplay, too. My (male) partner is not a huge fan of toys, but we discovered that gently dragging the wand down his torso, or holding the wand to his penis while I use my hands or mouth is incredibly pleasurable for him. He enjoys using it on me, as well.

There are two consistent frustrations I do have with this toy. The first is related to its vibration settings. Regarding "traditional" vibrations, there are two modes: a low and a high. Personally, I wish there was a middle mode, as I often find that the low is too gentle and the high is too intense while I'm still not "there" yet. (This is especially noticeable once the toy starts losing charge...sidenote: I always forget to charge it, which is heartbreaking because more often than not the toy ends up dead when I'm incredibly horny, and you can't use it as you charge it!) The second frustration I have is related to the design. The wand's handle is incredibly long, and fairly wide. In order to angle the wand the way I need to, my hand ends up at an awkward angle that becomes difficult to maintain after a few minutes.

That said, this is absolutely one of my favorite toys. The noise is relatively easy to cover, the toy's quality and performance is consistent, and the results can't be beat. If you're curious about a Hitachi-style toy like I was, this is absolutely the one to invest in!
