I've never had to use lube with it, but water based lubes are the ones to pick if you prefer. The heart is easy to clean, just take out the bullet and wash the rubber with warm water or antibacterial toy cleaners. the bullet itself is not water poof, I recommend using toy cleaner cloths.

My favorite position to use this toy in would have to be doggystyle or flat on my stomach, I've reached orgasm in minutes flat time after time without the heart being too bulky to lay flat and comfy.
