Like an Easter Egg Hunt

If you want a toy for travel or wearing in public this is a great one. It has safe materials, lots of vibration options, and pretty good power with not a lot of noise.

If you want a toy for regular bedroom use I'd steer away from this one. I'd much prefer something with a little more power and the ability to control the settings without having to remove the toy. It really disrupts the flow and the excitement of the moment.
Silicone, minimalist, easy travel, lots of functions in a small package
frustrating controls, short string, hard to clean cap

Meet the PicoBong Honi, an ultra discreet, simple, and vibrantly colored bullet vibrator. To me, bullet style vibrators are one of the best types of vibes for everyone and should be one of the first toys in anyone's arsenal because they are really only limited by your imagination. They can go anywhere and can be used alone or in conjunction with other toys.

This particular one excels in the discreetness department because it has no external battery or control system that you typically see in a lot of bullet style vibes. This is a great companion for a trip or for wearing out of the house if you're so inclined.

The vibe can be used in a lot of different ways whether you're a man or woman, and can be used externally or internally with equal effectiveness. For example, for solo play I have used it anally or actually placed my balls through the strings and had it dangle while using a plug at the same time to add extra excitement. For partner play it can also be used on nipples or on the clitoris for a little foreplay, or inserted vaginally or anally during oral or during penetration for a lot of extra excitement.

Also, because it is waterproof it can be used in lots of locations!

Material / Texture

The Honi is mostly made of silicone with a bit of plastic on the base, and has a little black cord for retrieval. It is very lightweight and pretty hard, with a slight plastic scent upon opening. I found it wants to retain a bit of scent from the locations it's been, which is a bit disappointing to me considering I have other toys that haven't suffered from this.

Also, you can never go wrong with selecting an item made of silicone because it is hypoallergenic and nonporous which allows for sharing. Don't forget that it's important to share!
    • Light odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

Honi is a pretty easy toy for anyone to use because of its fairly small size. It's about 3 1/4" long and has a diameter of about 1". I think the size is perfect for a bullet vibe. With it off, you could easily forget it's even there, which is exactly how it should be.

The shape is more pointed that a lot of other bullet vibes that I've seen, which allows for easy insertion which is great. A dab of lube and the little guy will go anywhere. I did find that the cap didn't always want to line up with the overall shape of the vibe and still be able to turn on which did create a noticeable bump when inserting. It isn't something that hurts, but it's not something that feels good either.

I also found the cord to be a little short overall making it somewhat easy to "lose" and require extra fishing. During vaginal penetration with it inserted anally it managed to work its way in pretty far and was somewhat difficult to retrieve. I would like it more if it had a longer cord.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibe is a very minimalist package. At first glance you might not even be able to figure out where it turns on. The PicoBrand logo is really the only thing on the toy and hidden within the P and B are the controls. They were able to pack a lot of function into something some tiny which is very impressive.

It can range from low vibration to pretty high considering it's size, and has 12 different vibration patterns. The patterns are mostly your usual vibration patterns that you may have felt in a number of other toys, however I did find the random pattern to be pretty cool and not a common setting in most vibrators, so to see it in a tiny toy like this was impressive.

Now for the annoying part. As you know, you insert the toy all the way in yourself...so what if you want to change the vibration pattern? Well, unfortunately, as I'm sure you've guessed, you have to remove it to change it. To me this is the biggest downside of this toy.

The power of the vibration is pretty good considering it only uses one AAA battery. Speaking of which, it's great that it uses a AAA instead of some weird watch battery size. The instructions say it only runs for a few hours, but I found it to run for a lot longer than that when on some sort of pattern.

The toy is waterproof and seemed to live up to it's claim. It's a tad too cold outside to test it at deeper depths than a bathtub but it did pass the bathtub test.
    • Discreet sound
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

The majority of the Honi can be washed easily with hot water and soap. Be sure to remove the battery and allow it to completely dry before putting the battery back to protect the circuitry.

Also take note that the end cap has a little gap between the two layers that like to attract all the extra lubes lotions and fluids that were played with. Why they decided to leave that gap is beyond me, because it takes a lot of extra work to clean. I recommend using a q-tip to get in the little gap and make sure it's clean.

Also, be sure not to use anything silicone based on this toy because silicone does not play well with other silicone!
    • Easy to store
    • Hard to clean

Great review! Although I am cringing a little at the thought of using this anally...with such a short retrieval cord, no wonder it required a fishing trip for removal!

Darn it, it published before I was finished my comment! I was also going to say something about why on earth they thought putting the controls on the insertable portion of the toy was a good idea?! *headdesk*

Ya it might not have been for anal use, but I don't see why the cord couldn't be a bit longer. I don't think it would ruin the aesthetic or functionality.

As far as the controls, I can't see it working any other way given the design, but for regular use it's definitely a big nuisance.

Very nice sized little bullet but the fact that you have to remove it to change the function is a bitch. I would be terrified of using this anally, that would be super embarrassing and expensive if one couldn't fish it out and needed to go and have it removed. It probably should have a longer retrieval cord. Great review

    Thank you!

I don't imagine you'd ever have to worry about having to go get it removed. Things in that region tend to eventually come out on their own.

I definitely don't think it's smart to use this anally, but if you really like sort of thing you could drop it inside a condom for easier removal. I'm personally not someone who enjoys using bullets/eggs internally (vaginally) so I'm wondering how this fares as a clitoral vibrator....? Lelo has come up with some pretty unintelligent designs but something about the control pad design makes me think that it might be intended more for external use? It's a toss up.
    Thanks for the review!

Sorry for the delay in response... @Dangerous Lilly it works just fine as a clit vibe but I think its a tad weak in the power department. Ultimately though if you want a clit vibe there are much better alternatives to a bullet.

I think its one selling point is just in the travel department. It is very small and would be easy to bring along for something a little extra.

Nice review -- I was really nervous about the plastic cap, and it's good to see I was cautious for a reason! Thank you so much
