Review of Magic Wand rechargeable by Vibratex - Strongest vibrating wand

I was very, very excited when I got notified that my Magic Wand was waiting for me in the mail. I had been waiting to get hold of one for several years, after I had gone to a sex toy store with my lifelong best friend and she caved into temptation to get one. When I arrived home, grabbed the box, the first thing I noticed was that it was heavy, much heavier than any other order that I've placed here. EdenFantasys says the net weight is at 1.75lbs - and I didn't want to believe, but after holding that thing in my hands for the first time, I was convinced that in my hands, I had a powerhorse.

The Magic Wand Recheargable was shipped in a plain cardboard box, and the sender was marked as "Web Merchants Inc.", as per usual. Inside the box was a hefty amount of recycled paper, which served as cushioning for the ride home. Below you'll find photos of the box itself - which, by the way, was sealed. I had previously read plenty about counterfeit wands (even on Amazon), so I was worried that I'd get stuck with one of those. But after checking several sources on that, I'm convinced that I have a legitimate model - yay!





After breaking the seal, inside the box, we find the following:
- The charger
- The wand itself (in a plastic baggie)
- A manual
- Plenty of cardboard to make sure impact doesn't damage the device



I was pleased to see that instead of an icky (ABS plastic?) material that I once saw/felt in a sex toy store on the original magic wand, there was a slightly-squishy silicone. And by the gods, it was ridiculously smooth too. I couldn't resist turning it into a makeshift stress ball in my hands for a few minutes before deciding to plug it in. Because it arrived without a charge, I ended up charging the wand for approximately 3.5hr before getting to actually test its strength.

When you first power on the Magic Wand Rechargeable, it starts out on the lowest setting, and the first (and smallest) of the 4 lights turns on to a light blue. Pressing the strength button increases vibration strength, and there are 4 levels to choose from. There are also 4 patterns, and the lights turn green instead when you shuffle through those. My first round with the Magic Wand Rechargeable was through my pants while watching a somewhat-sexy series I follow on Netflix. Yay. I was immediately pleased with how ridiculously powerful the vibrations proved to be and settled on the second strength pressed against my groin. Even through my pants, I could easily feel it. Throughout the entire episode, I found myself grinding against the head of the wand and becoming increasingly horny; I almost squirted - through my pants - with this indirect stimulation when I upped the strength to 3 and 4. Frankly, the 4th strength was too much and quickly made me numb, so I dipped back down to 2 and ended up teasing myself senseless. By the time the credits popped up, I was almost desperately reaching for my favorite dildo to fill me up.

The Magic Wand Rechargeable is surprisingly quiet! I was expecting it to be a jackhammer of some sort, but it's really not that bad (at least not yet). After that first round, I figured it'd be a good idea to test if it could be heard. I propped it up against a pillow on my bed (so the head wouldn't touch the mattress - as that makes it *very* loud, and unlike what it sounds like against my nethers), and ran it on each speed.

First strength, couldn't hear it 10m away - I couldn't even get to the door.
Second strength, couldn't hear it 10m away, just like the first strength.
Third strength, could just barely hear it 10m away - I had to strain to be able to pick the sound up
Fourth strength could barely hear it 12m away, at my door.

After that test, I couldn't help myself and decided to indulge in this lovely "Cadillac of Vibrators", as they call it, again. And I realized a few things. Pressing it against myself for extended periods of time (30min+) with a clothing barrier of some sort will terribly irritate my skin. It got to the point where my skin had gotten itchy(?), and it was more of an annoying experience than pleasant. Even 15min after removing the Magic Wand Rechargeable from myself, any movement/walking (which caused underwear to rub against irritated skin) was almost painful. This has not happened to me (yet) when using it directly against skin.

Another thing to note is that every ~20 minutes, the wand shuts off - the manual claims it's to keep it from overheating, but the handle barely becomes warm at best, so I tend to just turn it back on. I messed around with the patterns, of which there are 4, but I didn't find them to be too favorable. They don't deviate from any of the standard patterns one would find on a vibrator. I just tend to stick to the steady vibration, but they're below in the Vibration Map section if you need to know what they are.

The Magic Wand Rechargeable is big. And heavy. My wrist gets tired if I hold the toy at an awkward angle very quickly. It's also a wonderful 'general' massager for sore muscles - excellent on the back, shoulders, and neck area - just be careful not to get your hair caught in the movement. I do not use any lube in conjunction with this toy -- that just makes me think it'll be more difficult to clean - if, however, you choose to add lube, make sure it's water-based, as the head is made of silicone. I clean this wand with a damp paper towel, as I currently don't have any toy cleaner (besides, I don't believe in that stuff). I hope to one day get a few attachments for this wand, as I've heard many reviewers singing praises for them. If you happen to have any favorite wand attachments, drop them in the comments section!

Because this wand is so powerful, I actually went out and found Vibratex's official website to figure out just how powerful it is.

According to magicwandoriginal.com's FAQ, here are the strengths of the four speeds:
1: 2,700 RPM
2: 3,800 RPM
3: 5,400 RPM
4: 6,300 RPM

Here's a quick rundown on those RPMs. When pressing the head against the palm of my hand:
1: vibrations reach my wrist
2: vibrations reach my elbow
3: vibrations reach my (high) bicep
4: vibrations reach the far end of my shoulderblade.

In other words... This thing is strong. After only a few moments of my hand against the head, I can still feel, like, ghost vibrations minutes later.

On that same FAQ, they also mentioned the Magic Wand Original's two speeds were 6,000 RPM on high and 5,000 RPM on low. I don't own the original wand, so I can't physically compare which one's stronger; however, based on these technical specs alone, the rechargeable model is stronger. The vibration itself starts out rumbly on the first level and quickly becomes buzzy between the 2nd and 3rd levels. The wand turns off after 20 minutes of consistent use, but I can't even last that long before either becoming a squirt fest or going numb. Lastly, the handle does vibrate minimally, but the toy does a good job in keeping my hand from going numb.

Vibration patterns as I understood them:
1) two short pulses, one long.
2) steady pulse
3) quicker steady pulses
4) steady escalating (the only one I actually liked enough to use for more than a minute or two)

Disclaimer: I'm in the process of getting rid of my anorgasmia, so don't let it sway you when I say I can't come on the Magic Wand Rechargeable. I did, however, squirt like a water fountain - to the point where I was worried that it would make the wand malfunction (because it's NOT waterproof), but luck has been on my side, and everything went fine with that. That said, the squirts were earthshatteringly-powerful. They could almost count as mini-orgasms because of that alone. I like using this wand on my bean bag (with at least 2 towels beneath me), and through my clothes while watching Netflix - it makes things a lil' bit more entertaining.
