No Flower Power at This Love-In

The Little Daisy fails to meet any of its expectations. The batteries are a pain to insert, the vibes are weak, and the toy breaks down too easily... perhaps even before use!

Pros
Small, discrete, very cute.
Cons
Batteries are a hassle, the toy is constructed poorly and does not perform to expectations.

I have always considered myself a kind of girl who never met a bullet she didn’t like, therefore have always been on the hunt for shapes and styles to try out. When I saw the Little Daisy by Shaki Toys, I immediately imagined all the great orgasms in my immediate future. It is simply just one of the cutest sex toys ever made. It is discreet, but this toy is one you’ll want to show your friends. The entire mechanism of the bullet is housed in a rounded pink flower casing, less than two inches long, and fits beautifully in the palm of your hand. The cord attached to the flower much like an iPod, and the bullet is an inch long and as thin and precise as a pencil. The bullet and flower are covered with silky-soft velvety plastic, and Shaki Toys, had the foresight to include the little while wrist strap attached to the flower to make sure the little sucker didn’t slip right out of hand during use.

As soon as I took out the four watch batteries which were included with the Little Daisy, I knew my solo love-in was not going to go as planned. There is nothing more inconvenient than a sex toy that requires watch batteries, since the greater share of sex toy users will probably not have watch batteries in the house to replace them with. This can render even the greatest toy trash once the original set wears out! I wrestled with those batteries for quite a while, dropping them, crawling under furniture to find the ones that rolled away, before finally getting to test out the seven different vibrations the Little Daisy bragged about. The controls for the seven vibration settings are adorably designed as a little button in the center of the flower. While the differing speeds and tempos definitely weren’t the strongest I’ve come across, and most assuredly were the most quiet I’ve heard, they definitely were a promising highlight after the battery fiasco.

However, the Little Daisy didn’t live longer than 20 minutes out of the box. From the time I set it down and picked it back up again to actually use, it QUIT WORKING! No matter how many times I pressed the button or wrestled with those damn watch batteries, it would not buzz again. Upon inspection, I found a tiny piece of exposed and frayed wire where the electrical cord attaches to the bullet through a split piece of plastic wire sheathing. I wish I could report on the experience of this toy, but the poor quality of the toy prevented any further enjoyment, much to my disappointment. As I said, I do love a bullet vibe… when they work, that is!
