Not de-Luxe

This small, plastic toy seems to be a high-quality version of some of the cheaper hand held toys, but is a less-quality version of the infamous Mimi, Form ___s, Nea, etc. It's small size and shape make this a toy best limited to external use.

Used clitorally, this toy works averagely well. It isn't the best for pinpoint stimulation, but you can get some good pressure because of the curve and the material. It's best for those who don't need super direct vibrations, though.

Internally, this really doesn't work at all. I tried to insert it and it just was the wrong shape entirely. Other than for very shallow insertion I feel like you would be bummed if you wanted to use this for thrusting or finding your g-spot.

Because of the shape this is not for anal use at all. There are plenty of toys that vibrate on Eden with a flared base that are safe for anal play, but this is not one of them by a long shot. It can be used to massage any other external erogenous zones you may have, though.

This would be an okay toy for a couple to bring into a relationship, but it may be a bit hard to hold on to if you're trying to position it correctly during sex. While I wouldn't discourage a couple from getting this to use together, I do feel like there are other toys that would be better.

This toy sort of passes Ryu's dorm seal of approval. It's waterproof, plastic, and small, all of which make it great to use in the public showers and stash in a drawer under my PJs. The downfall to this toy is that the third power setting and any of the patterns are too loud for me to use. Because of this I may recommend something a bit less loud if you live in the dorms.

This toy is made entirely of firm, shiny plastic. Plastic is rated an 8 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale because it's completely nonporous and body safe. Along with basic cleaning discussed below, this toy can be disinfected with a 10% bleach solution in order to kill any bacteria that may linger on it. I would recommend doing this every time you plan on switching users.

The material is pink and silver, and the main area that is intended to be used clitorally is silver. There is a very slight seam on the bottom part of the vibrator where the pink plastic meets the silver plastic, but especially because this isn't meant to be inserted it doesn't get gunky easily.

The entire thing is very smooth and has no drag to it at all. If you want things to get very slippery you can use lube with this, but be careful because it may cause this to be hard to manipulate and hold on to. It also may make the buttons harder to push because they're already a little bit stiff.

Out of the package I didn't notice any smells or tastes at all, and now that I've used it it hasn't retained any. Because of the material it also won't break down or degrade over time, so if this turns out to be your new favorite friend you can keep it until the motor starts to go.

I would recommend plastic for all users, especially in external toys like this one. It allows for you to put a lot of pressure if you need it, and by being so slick it makes it much easier to use and not have to worry about lube.

When looking at this toy is seems like it would be ergonomic and super easy to use, but in actuality the shape and curve makes it a little bit awkward to fit against your body and in your hand. This feminine toy looks very organic and shape, and it has two small ridges in the tip that (supposedly) are supposed to rest comfortably on your clitoris.

In total this toy is almost 4.5 inches long from the tip to the base, and across the body it is about 1.5 inches. It tapers out towards the tip, and looks a bit like a teardrop. This size makes it easy to fit into your hand and great to stash somewhere or travel with.

I really don't like the shape to this toy at all. Normally when toys are curved like this I feel like they are meant to cradle your clitoris and labia, but this is just the wrong shape for that. It's not concave/flat enough along the body of it to really cradle my labia, and it isn't curved enough to naturally contour to my shape. I also found that the shape was a bit awkward when I was trying to hold it in my hand. I normally use toys like this by cupping my hand towards myself (palm towards my body) and them pressing it to myself like that, but with this the shape is just hard to get situated in a way that isn't cramping my wrist.

The shape isn't large or intimidating, and if you can make this work for your body it would be a great shape for beginners or advanced users. Because I personally don't find it to be ergonomic I really can't recommend it, but if you think that the shape would work for you I say go for it.

This toy by California Exotics is easy to control. On the 'base' are two buttons, both are designated by an image but are flush with the plastic of the toy. You press them by just pushing firmly where the images are and they depress a tiny bit and 'click.' It makes it feel high quality and adds to the waterproof nature of the vibrator.

When you press the 'on' button the light behind the button turns on. This makes it super easy to read in the dark and I just plain like toys that light up. You then can cycle through all of the different vibration modes by pushing the 'mode' button. You can turn it off at any time by just pressing the 'power' button again. There are 7 vibrational modes to this toy.

I really like that you don't have to cycle down through all the settings in order to turn it off, a personal pet peeve of mine when a toy happens to be on the louder side. The highest setting (and most of the patterns) clock in around 3 bees and 3 vrooms. It can't be heard through a thick door but may be heard through thin walls and can be heard over the public showers in my dorm.

This toy is very buzzy in its vibrations, something that I am okay with. I know that a lot of people NEED deeper, more rumbly vibrations, and this doesn't deliver those. This also isn't ideal for people who need a lot of power.

This toy also happens to be completely waterproof, but it does it in a strange way. The area around the batteries and the connector seals completely, but the battery compartment itself doesn't keep water out. What this means is that you shouldn't open the battery compartment just after cleaning it or using it in the shower, but it's completely safe to do so.

Overall, this is a good toy to experiment with new patterns and I would recommend it to people who aren't looking for something with excessive power, so I would rate it about average. What turns me off is the noise levels, but if you don't mind those I think that it offers a nice range.

Light up buttons!

Being made of plastic, this toy is super easy to care for. It doesn't collect lint or dirt, so if you keep it in a clean place you can get away with just washing it after every use. I wash it with an antibacterial toy cleaner, but soap and water or toy wipes work just as well. You can also disinfect this toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, something that I recommend doing every time you want to switch users.

I keep this in a cool, dark place with the rest of my toys. You can store plastic in contact with all other materials without worrying about it reacting, and similarly you can use all types of lube on it. I think that plastic is my favorite material to keep up because it's so worry-free.

This toy came in a small, plastic box. I personally would have liked it to come in a bit of a nicer box for the going price of it, but it is pretty standard for a California Exotics toy. You can see the toy through the front of the box through a window and it shows the toy on the back, as well.

It's not discreet at all, but it also doesn't have any lewd sayings or naked women on it. I wouldn't hesitate to wrap it and give it as a gift because of the packaging, but it is obvious that they got a toy if they unwrap it at a party. I don't use this for storage because it's much larger than the toy itself, but if you have a lot of extra space you could.

I got this toy on huge sale, 70% off to be exact, and that's about how much I would say that this was worth. From the packaging to the feel of the plastic and mechanics themselves this seems more like a $20 toy than a $40 toy.

I don't tend to take much off of a toys rating because it didn't work well for my body, especially when there are reviews saying that they thought it was ergonomic, but this toy was just so frustrating that I feel I can't NOT dock a point for it. It's all personal preference, though, so I wouldn't let my discomfort dissuade you completely.

What I really do let my rating be effected by, however, is 'price for pleasure.' I have given small, two setting bullets 5 star reviews because, for $5 they are amazing and I feel like they're the best in their class. Thinking of the other toys I have that are around $40? This one is more comparable to the ones that are in the $20 or $25 dollar range. I really like the patterns and the buttons are cute, but that just isn't enough to get this to be a toy worth getting for me.
