The smaller, concave side of the Luxe Replenish is made of shiny, hard plastic. The texture is sleek and smooth. It slides nicely over your sensitive areas with or without lube. If you want a smoother slide, lube is recommended.

The silver, grooved ring is metallic silver plastic. The tip area has a larger curve that joins into the smaller curve and forma a bit of a groove where the two halves join. You will need to experiment a bit to find a comfortable way to hold this while it is vibrating. Lube makes this very slippery, so holding it in place when it is lubed can be a bit tricky. The battery panel is accessed by lifting the small tab at the back of the rounded end. Slide it out, add 2 AAA batteries and you are ready to vibrate! Make sure you get the battery door on completely, so the rubber seal around the battery pack will work correctly.

This massager functioned so well in the tub, it may never get out of there! I loved using it on my aching muscles while soaking in the hot water.
