Not much of a roar

This is a really cute vibrator that looks like a lion. It's adorable, and functional. Sometimes the battery pack doesn't want to work, but other than that, it's a pretty fantastic vibrator.

Use

This vibrator is part of the Astrovibes collection by Fun Factory. It's a great g-spot vibrator. You probably shouldn't use it for anal, because there is no flared base or anything.

This is a really cute vibrator in my opinion. You can either use it solo, or have a partner help you out. I know I love it when my fiance uses it on me.

Material / Texture

This is made of silicone. It's a very smooth, soft material. It's also pretty flexible. The bottom isn't quite as flexible because that's where the battery pack is at and everything, but the tip has a pretty decent bending quality.

The texture is really neat. The top of it is made to look like the head of a lion. There are a lot of little grooves, ridges, and bumps on the top of it. Every little groove adds to the stimulation. I really enjoy how this toy feels.

Since it's silicone, it's not porous at all, which is a nice quality. You can used water-based lube with it, but not silicone lube.

Design / Shape / Size

The top of it looks like a lion head, and the rest of the vibrator is supposed to be the mane. I think it's really cute. The shape gives it a really interesting feeling. It really adds to the stimulation.

It's one of my bigger vibrators, but it's not too huge. I think it's a pretty great size for me, but I wouldn't really suggest it for beginners. It has an insertable length of a little over 6 inches, and the circumference is about the size of a half-dollar.

Even though this is designed to look like a lion, I wouldn't really call it discreet. It still looks like a vibrator.

Functions / Performance / Controls

It takes two AA batteries. Something that irritates me about this toy is the battery pack. It's not very secure. If you go to turn the switch to change the level of vibration, the battery compartment opens and it turns off. You have to hold that part in place to be able to turn up the vibrator.

It does have a few levels of vibration, bit even the highest level isn't extremely strong. It's a decent strength and it should be able to get most people off.

One really good thing about it is that it's not extremely loud. Even all the way up, it only has a light buzz to it. And if you have it inside you, you can hardly hear it at all.

Care and Maintenance

It's very easy to take care of. You can wash it with mild soap and warm water, or a toy wipe. I wouldn't try to boil it though, because it's not waterproof.

You can keep it in the box it came in, or put it in a toy box. You have to be careful to not let it make contact with other silicone though.

Packaging

The package is really neat. It comes in a box with a clear front that's blue and says "Astrovibes" on it. The back has a little page thing, that you can open up, and it has information about the vibrator in different languages.

Follow-up commentary
It's not so much that I "don't like it anymore", I just never really use it. It's a decent vibrator, but I have so many that are just much better vibrators, and I'd rather just use them.

Despite the material this still doesn't seem like it's worth $34.99.

I bought it on sale for around $15.00. It was worth it for that price, but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

I guess $35 is a lot to pay for something where the material safety isn't all that critical, but getting it for $15 is quite the deal. Thanks for the review.

I agree. I love the texture of silicone, but I'm not going to share it, so safety isn't a huge deal to me.
