Not so pleasureful

This item is a beautiful toy, especially when it's not necessarily meant to be one. It would be a good buy for those who like lighter vibrations, and not the strong ones I crave. The batteries are my biggest issue. Which may seem silly, but I like always having spare batteries around, and I always do for my other toys. The "N" size just seems like an awkward battery for a toy.

Pros
The design of the toy and the packaging, very unique and pretty.
Cons
The batteries; vibes weren't very strong on high.

I originally chose this toy as a replacement for my bullet vibe that had recently passed on after a few years of wonderful orgasms. The Flex A Pleasure Egg had a lot to live up to in that cheap little toy from before. The first thing I noticed about this toy was the beautiful packaging. I wanted to keep it and hang it on the wall. It was just a plastic box, but the designs on it were beautiful. The toy I thought, was equally as stunning, with a slight pearlescent shine to the purple. I had to test it right away. The batteries were already in the toy, so all I had to do was turn the dial on the base. The vibrations gradually got stronger, but I didn't find too much of a difference between them. This toy was unique and wonderful in the way that you could bend it however you needed and it would stay (as long as you didn't exert too much pressure on it). Made reaching certain spots easier, or more comfortable, then with other non-flexible toys.

Playing with it, the toy did give some pleasure, but I'm a fan of stronger vibrations, which I found this toy lacking. The vibrations gradually got stronger, but I didn't find too much of a difference between them. It did manage to get the job done, but it took longer then I liked or was used to with other toys of the same nature. Yes, it could reach different spots better and more comfortably, but it didn't provide enough stimulation for me to be truly satisfied with this toy.

The biggest problem I ended up having with the Flex a Pleasure is the battery. Instead of your normal "AA" or "AAA" it takes an "N" sized battery. I understand the space for the battery is small to make the toy look symmetrical, but they're not something I have lying around at home, nor something I plan on having. The batteries are just about dead, and I only used it for about 2 hours, not all at once. I just found it a little disappointing.
Follow-up commentary
I haven't used this since the battery died. Didn't think it was worth locating the odd sized battery when nothing else in my house uses them.

I found your review to be educational as well as informative. Pearlescent is now the official word of the day, and even though I have seen N batteries before, I never knew that is what they were called (I looked them up after reading it in your review)
