Stunner - traditional vibrator discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by Miss Anonymous

Stunner, by Evolved, is a really nice, slim traditional vibrator. The stunner comes in a tin just like most Evolved toys come in. The tin that the stunner is in is a white tin with writing on the side that says “Love is back.” The tin is very beautiful, and can be used as storage for the toy or other odds and ends you want to use it for. The tin makes it perfect for gift giving; the toy isn't in full direct view, and the tin does have a window where the toy can be seen. The bottom of the tin tells you a little more about the toy, such as what it is made of, and just a few key points about the toy. The tin is opened by loosening the side of the tin. When you open the tin, the toy sits inside along with a slice of foam to keep the toy from sliding around. The foam can be removed to make more space inside the tin.

When you remove the stunner from the tin, you will notice that it has a very pronounced bubbling texture (that's what I call it, unsure of what the technical name for it is); it has a bulbous top followed by three smaller ones, and then the pattern repeats itself. There is quite a bit of a drag to it. If you run your fingers up and down it without any lubrication of any kind, you will see that you have to pull your fingers over it; it just doesn't slide effortlessly. When used with lube you don't feel the drag, so it isn't a problem when using it during masturbation. The vibrations on the stunner were pretty disappointing; they were NOT strong at all and didn't flow throughout the toy. They were only at the tip and nowhere else. It has three settings like all Evolved toys, and is operated by one push button at the bottom of the toy. The stunner has a removable battery compartment that makes replacing the batteries easy.

The three settings can be boring for some. The vibration can he heard through the covers and maybe through a closed door, depending on the background noise. The noise it makes is a high pitched, buzzing noise. The stunner is made of TPR. It has an excellent flexural fatigue resistance and high impact strength, and is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone. If you want to use it between people, it's recommended that you use a condom; remember the condom should be changed from user to user. The stunner should be washed before and after every use. It can be cleaned with mild soap and water and/or your favorite toy cleaner. The stunner is a lint and fingerprint magnet; everything it comes in contact with can and most likely will leave a print or some kind of lint. So washing this before every use is a MUST!!

Traveling with the stunner isn't hard. You can put it inside of a carry pouch and then put it into your bag, or you can keep it in the tin it comes in. Carrying it in the case may be more work than you need to go through. But this ISN'T a throw into your purse or pocket and go. The stunner is waterproof and splash-proof, so you can take it into the bath tub and shower. The stunner is perfect for beginners because it's slim, it isn't too wide, nor are the vibrations too strong. It's a perfect toy to use as a starting point.

The stunner is not my favorite of the bunch; the vibrations aren't strong enough. I ended up having to switch to something else to get me off. I love Evolved, and I own a good amount of their products, but this sure isn't one of the best they have made.
