Oh, My. Don't Read A Vibrator By Its Cover.

This toy is a great addition. It has filled a gap in my collection for a vibrator for both clitoral and g-spot stimulation. The strong vibrations and associated quietness of this toy is a plus. I love that it's cordless, waterproof, non-porous, adorable... everyone needs a bright pink vibrator. This is excellent for beginners, those who like strong vibrations, or who want to have a versatile toy. It is what I wanted in terms of vibratory strength and has a design that many toys lack.

Use

This vibrator provides a really lovely and unusual sensation. I highly suggest it for anyone who enjoys strong vibrations, g-spot stimulation, ease of use, and those trying to increase pleasure from vaginal stimulation. I use it as an internal toy and also external. I found the vibrations to be strong enough to cause orgasm by keeping it pressed against my clit, which I really value in my vibrators. It's also really quiet, for the quality/intensity of sensation that it provides. It's totally waterproof, so you can use it in the shower or tub without a worry. I probably wouldn't use this toy anally, although I suppose that you could (keeping precautions for cross-use by putting a condom on it prior to anal play). I would say that it stimulates the vagina, g-spot, and clitoris best. It is a great massager so I wouldn't shy away from using it on breasts or nipples as well.

Material / Texture

Roulette is made of primarily 100% silicone and also some structural plastic. It seems to have a very, very slight sweet smell... but no "chemical plastic" scent that some toys have. Honestly the odor is hardly noticeable, not enough to consider an "odor". It has no distinguishable taste. The silicone is quite soft and velvety, and is carved into deep, artistic ridges. These ridges can be felt during penetration and I believe it is an excellent ridged toy for beginners. I find that some small ridges can be annoying. But these ridges are large enough and few enough that they seem to conform to my own internal anatomy instead of being irritating. They are noticeable and make a small difference in sensation, especially during thrusting. The material is flexible enough to move slightly in coordination with your body (as opposed to glass) and the material can be manipulated with your hands to test resilience. Some pressure on the toy causes it to bend or flex, but as soon as pressure is released it returns to the starting form. This toy is totally seamless.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the design of this toy. I think it's innovative, aesthetically attractive, and unique. It's highly ergonomic, designed to fit your natural internal lady curves.

I think that the size is definitely better for beginner users. The first time I used this toy, I was immediately in love with it and couldn't think of anything negative to say. After a couple uses I decided that I would prefer a few things. a) That it was just a tad longer. I broke out the tape measure and the insertable length (down to right before where the wheel cavity starts) is just about six inches. That's fine and dandy, it's definitely satisfying, but during thrusting I kept wanting it to go deeper. It's also not as thick as it could be. Hence, it's a good toy for beginners.

The other thing that I didn't love was b) The tip (designed to rub against the g-spot) is the most flexible part of the toy. It was hard to get it to *really* press it into inner spots without it bending and not delivering the pressure that I wanted it to deliver. And c)I felt that it was a little clumsy to use, but nothing significantly noticeable. I just couldn't find a really good place to hold it... but that might just be me. It was still functional! I held it right below-inside the wheel well.

This vibrator is not discreet. It looks like a bright pink, twisty, phallic vibrator. It is easy to hide though. It's totally wireless, it doesn't have multiple parts, I could just stick it under my pillow if someone walked into my room.

Functions / Performance / Controls

When I saw this toy I was reminded of a cheaper dildo that I once purchased at a low-quality adult store. It had the same method of changing the vibration intensity: a wheel suspended on the underside of the toy. I was so surprised at how well the design works in this higher quality vibrator. The controls did not accidentally change while I was using the toy even once. The location of the wheel and internal tension on it probably prevented my hand from increasing or decreasing intensity.

The vibrations themselves were strong enough to enlighten me as to why the toy is in its price bracket. They're excellent. Most vibrators cannot make me orgasm by still, constant clitoral stimulation. This is one of perhaps three that I have used which can cause that effect. The intensity of the vibrations during penetration (in combination with the curve pressing against my g-spot) were enough to get me *really* wet. Like, soaked. Like, I just changed my sheets two days ago and now they have a huge mess on them, wet.

This toy is also shockingly quiet. I've been so bummed out because my favorite vibrator is just far too loud to use in my quiet dorm. Problem solved. Thanks, Roulette. I can hardly hear it from under my blanket. I can't say anything about battery life yet. I am sure this is one of those toys that decreases with intensity as the batteries drain. I might get some rechargeable for it, though, because I think I will be using it quite often. It's really easy to use, I had no problem putting in the batteries without reading the directions (I even got the battery directions right on the first try, thanks to the lovely diagram inside the battery compartment). It takes two AA batteries, and is therefore completely wireless/cordless.

Someone asked me if this toy has pulsing vibrations. No. It doesn't. But I'm totally okay with that, and this one makes up for lack of patterns with increased intensity. The lowest setting is strong enough to cause good feelings, which is great because usually the lowest setting is a bit of a joke to me. The highest setting is earth-shattering. This is not your grandma's vibrator. You will *feel* it.

The instructions informed me that the wheel locks when the vibrator is turned off. This is intuitive, because the toy is turned off by turning the wheel past the lowest settings. But it is still a nice feature.

The vibrator is completely waterproof. It did super in the water, went right on buzzing like it was still in my bed. The vibrations are still extraordinarily noticeable in the water, probably because they are so strong. If you like waterproof toys, this is a really ideal one to have. It also air-dries quickly.

Care and Maintenance

Only water-based lubricants should be used with this vibrator, as it is made primarily of silicone. Technically the toy does not allow for bacteria buildup, but as the instructions suggested, if you choose to use it without washing it between uses, you should use a condom. I wash it between uses with antibacterial soap, and it's important to let it dry completely before storing. If the toy develops any rips or faults in the silicone (as with all silicone toys) you should discontinue use. It's a very easy toy to care for. I store mine in my duffle bag with the rest of my toys, and it seems to do well there. The instruction manual seems to say that this toy is designed to function between 0 degrees C and 40 degrees C, so I would recommend staying within those parameters.

Packaging

This toy came in a lovely translucent plastic box, with the closing mechanism similar to the way that you close a jam jar (the two metal hinges on each side that flip up to "lock"). I think it's adorable. I think it's a waste of plastic. It's translucent, so I wouldn't say it's an ideal place to store the toy if you're trying to be discreet. It's also a bit large/clumsy to fit the plastic case in my duffle bag with all of my other toys. You could use it as a gift box for giving the toy itself, I suppose. Or fill it with candy and give it to a friend? It does seem to be recyclable and recommends recycling "where possible." So I guess your basic plastic recycling place.

There were user's instructions included in the package. This toy is so simple to use, I doubt that you will need them. It comes in a whole slew of languages, which is helpful. The side of the box seems to indicate flags next to the word "Massager" and I believe that these flags may correlate to the languages inside this user manual. I recognize English, French, Italian, German, Dutch, and Mexican Spanish and maybe Spain Spanish? It's sort of hard to tell.
