Lucky 7 is a winner, but it doesn't win big.

I enjoyed the Lucky 7 but I wasn't blown away. It's nice, but it didn't stand out in any one area. The vibrations are good but not super strong, and I like more pressure than this vibe could provide. The multispeed control is smooth, but I didn't find it provided a wide range of vibration speeds and this toy doesn't do patterns.

I'm definitely not setting this vibe aside any time soon, but for now it's "meh", not "wow".

Use

The Lucky 7 has a good buzzy vibe. The silicone is fairly flexible and soft which makes it great for thrusting (no worries about bruising like you might have with a material like glass). Silicone can be very draggy and I found the soft texture added to that, just be extra generous with the (water based) lube.

It's meant for g-spot stimulation and I'm going to stick to using it that way. It was a nice warm up to use it on my clit, but the vibrations weren't strong enough and the vibe too flexible to really make a good clitoral vibe for me. It could definitely direct a nice buzz to my g-spot though, the curved end was a good size for pinpoint stimulation. Again though, best for thrusting. It was too flexible to put a lot of pressure on my g-spot. The multispeed is a smooth variation in vibration speed rather than discreet settings, which I appreciated. There's no frustration from wanting something right in between.

It is waterproof but I have yet to try it out in water.

Material / Texture

The Lucky 7 is 100% seamless pink silicone. Right out of the box it had a very very faint plasticy smell (barely there) and no discernible taste. It's ridged, but I found the swirls added more to its visual than sensory appeal. I love the color, it's more saturated than baby pink but not as garish as hot pink. It's not discreet, but it is fun. The silicone is pretty flexible with a soft texture. It feels like it has a hard "core" where you can feel the battery casing and motor through the silicone, but it bends fairly easily in the middle. The curve on the end is similarly flexible.

The base of the vibe is smooth. I found it easiest to hold with a finger hooked on the hollow near the multispeed wheel especially when things got a little slippery with extra lube.

Design / Shape / Size

Visually, I love the design. It's pink and swirly, fun to look at and hold. If I could give a vibrator a handjob, I would give it to this one. It's not discreet, but it's battery operated so no need to leave it out charging. It does come with a case (plastic, with a plastic insert to hold the toy) that's great for storage, but if anything it's even less discreet than the vibrator and it's a little big for travel (it's approximately 3"x3"x9").

The Lucky 7 is tapered, the base is 1 5/8" diameter as it says in the specs, narrowing to about 1" diameter at the tip. I liked the shape, it was a definitely thick enough for me and the tapered end was great for pinpoint g-spot stimulation. I know I would've found this too big a year ago, so maybe it's big for a beginner, but as they say, Your Miles May Vary.

The control wheel is easy to use. It doesn't lock, but it doesn't spin on a dime and I haven't had any issues accidentally adjusting it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The only control on the Lucky 7 is the wheel set into the base of the toy and it's incredibly easy to figure out. It's smooth but has a ridged texture which makes it useable even if things are a little slippery. There's no set speeds, it's one analog control, with "off" at its lowest setting. If you had your ear to the door of the room, you might just barely hear this toy on its highest setting. At anything lower than that, it's on the quiet side.

The motor is located toward the end of the shaft of the toy, so the vibrations are right where you want them. That said, I found there wasn't a big range of vibration. It went from medium to strong, not medium to amazing, or light to strong. I also found the noise increased more than the vibration did, although it was never very loud, and I could feel a bigger difference just holding it on my skin than against my g-spot (maybe I just don't have a very discerning g-spot).

In terms of g-spot stimulation, the vibrations were great, especially when thrusting, but I just couldn't get enough pressure because the vibe was too flexible.
    • Discreet sound

Care and Maintenance

Like other silicone toys, the Lucky 7 is pretty easy to care for. It's waterproof, so just make sure the battery case is closed and you can wash the whole thing with soap and water.
It takes 2 AA batteries. I take the batteries out for storage so everything lasts longer (no one wants to risk corroded batteries in their vibrator!). The case it comes in is great for storage but if you want to store it some other way, just make sure it's not next to another silicone toy as this can eventually degrade the material.
Similarly, stick to water based lubes as silicone lubes can damage silicone toys.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

After reading another review that mentioned instructions, I was surprised not to find any with my toy. It's easy to figure out though - just unscrew the grip to insert batteries.

It came in the plastic case, with nothing else. The case is a little garish for a gift box but perfect for storage. It's covered in a description of the vibrator and a warning not to use it in any way but externally (I'm going to go ahead and assume this is for regulatory reasons since it is clearly designed with insertion in mind!).
    • Good for storage
    • Not discreet
