Jenna's velvet G - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by MamaDivine

I am in "awe" with the Jenna Velvety G vibrator. I originally purchased this for a massaging toy. Most of you know (if you follow/read any of my other reviews) that I am big on the massaging aspects of things. I have been on a manhunt, a vibe hunt rather, for vibrators that are usually used for sexual purposes, to be used as a massaging purpose.

Firstly, the Jenna Velvet G is much larger (longer) than I expected. I know that everyone says that there are measurements on the product descriptions, but honestly I need a visual aid to see the real look/feel of the toy. So anyways, the first thing that I noticed was the feel of the G. This toy is so silky soft, velvety and almost (I want to say) a "creamy" feel to it. Its very soothing and very nice. The toy itself is made of plastic with "velvet cote". Though this is a plastic vibe underneath, I would not have guessed that. When I hear "plastic toy" I think low quality. (Sorry manufacturers!) So I was rather pleased when this toy had a very high quality, heavier feel to it. It feels sturdy and can be gripped in the hand nicely. Because of the material that surrounds the plastic vibrator, its easy to grip without worry of it slipping out of your hands in the event things get a little too "slippery"!

I have only used this vibrator as a massage vibrator, so I cannot attest to its clitoral or G spot stimulation (or the lack thereof). However, I can tell you that this vibrator does have a very nice vibration. It doesn't make your hand go numb and tingly, but it will definitely give you a jump start! Because of the tilted tip (head) and the rather "flat" tip, it makes for a great massager on the neck, back, shoulder blades and even on the temples during a headache or migraine! Because the intensity isn't too great, it won't make your head spin or your eyesight blur for moments after using on your temples.

The Jenna Velvet G is a waterproof toy (bonus!) that requires 2 AA batteries. The battery compartment is located at the very bottom of the toy and twists off for insertion of batteries. The base (where you put in the batteries) is your dial-base for easy access to some great stimulation! My husband was also quite impressed with the toys' feel and look. (Which is unusual, considering he is a tad "weird" about toys in the bedroom).

This toy is Hypo-allergenic and latex free, so you can use without worries, for those of you with allergies to certain materials.

Though this toy may appear to be "flexible", it is not. Which was somewhat of a bummer for me, but I will get over that. Clean up shouldn't be too hard for this toy. There are some ridges, but they are quite large and easy to access for easy clean up. I would also feel comfortable using a water based lubricant on this, but I am not too sure about the Silicone lubricants, as I am not familiar with the "velvet cote" material.

I have to say that this has become one of my favorite toys! Since receiving this toy, I have used it mainly for massage purposes. The head on this toy is angled perfectly and covers a good amount of area at the "head" to give "headache massages" or tension in the neck and between the shoulder blades! Because of the extra long handle on this toy, it makes for a great back massager when hubby is away and I am left to fend for myself! I have tried to insert this toy vaginally a few times and found that the head of this toy was just too "defined" for me to really get any sort of pleasure out of it. Because of the shape and the unusually sharp angle and size of the head, it is rather uncomfortable for me. Though, it does make a rather nice clitoral stimulator! Then again, to each their own! LOVE LOVE LOVE it though for migraines! The velvety soft touch of this toy makes for a great slide across the skin too. It doesn't drag or anything. Which is nice when I don't feel like busting out the massage oils! And because of the unique look of it, honestly it doesn't really LOOK like a vibrator. You could probably pass it off as a massager to most. Then again, my family knows me better, so I can't be so lucky! Ha!
