One silver bullet intended for supernaturally good experiences, definitely not just werewolves!

With a great price like this and the power this bullet has to offer, it's sure to have you howling at the moon (with glee!). Really, I think this is a great and inexpensive addition to any toybox, which I doubt you could go wrong with and its few cons really outweigh the fun you can have with it.

Use

This bullet is nice and discreet and I find it to be a great size for external clit stimulation. Technically, it could be inserted use if you are prepared to risk its rather delicate looking wires. You could pop a condom over this to make it easier to remove with less wear on the wires, but to be honest that's not something I plan to do considering that I prefer to use it externally and the continuing expense of using condoms with a toy like this would be too high. I would not recommend it for anal play, especially considering the size of this bullet, but I guess it would be possible to slip it into a condom and try it that way. However, given the range of anal specific toys out there, I think you could find something safer and more satisfying! Having said that, it really is a versatile type of vibe and I'm sure the possibilities for play are virtually limitless due to the fact that it's powerful enough to transfer vibrations through clothes/hands/other objects etc. The lowest setting for the vibe is still very pleasant and would be great for a slow tease. However, it really packs a punch at the top setting, which is great for those of us who sometimes feel like we need a jet engine to get the power we need!

Material / Texture

The bullet is simply a hard plastic shell surrounding the motor which provides those intense vibrations, so in terms of materials it's nothing fancy or unusual. It's nice and smooth and I find it good to exert a bit of pressure with in one place or to slide it around a little. Similarly, the control pack is made of hard plastic, so it's easy to wipe up if need be. Thankfully, it doesn't have a scent at all and didn't frustrate me with and other sort of nasty surprises!

Design / Shape / Size

I chose the silver version of the bullet as I think it looks sleek and powerful, a pretty accurate description of the toy on the whole actually! I prefer my toys to look a little more functional than frilly, so having that option was nice. The control pack isn't too large and sits comfortably in your hand whilst playing, with the cord plenty long enough for my needs. However, the actual bullet is a little larger than I expected, (around about the length of the first two joints of my middle finger to give you an easy comparison), but it's definitely not going to cause any heart-attacks for those not keen on bigger toys. It simply means you have a bit more to hold on to when positioning it in just the right spot, or more surface area if slipping it inside. Additionally, the shape, as with most bullets, I find is really great, no harsh edges or anything to get in the way and make it versatile.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are controlled by a wheel on the battery pack, which amps up the vibrations fairly slowly. This was simple to use and the wheel easy to turn and grip even when things got a little slippery. However, I did find I had the problem of turning the wheel in the wrong direction quite often, as there are the two sides to the wheel and turning it 'upwards' or 'downwards' did the opposite on each side as the wheel rotates in the one direction. For someone a bit better at keeping their bearings during things, this probably wouldn't be a problem and isn't a drastic issue, something I'll most likely get used to with time. As I've mentioned, the cord was plenty long enough for personal play and I can't imagine that it would be too short for any partner activities, so on that score it's fine. In terms of noise level, my bullet is nice and quiet and on the highest setting couldn't really be heard from underneath the covers. If slipped inside, it's practically silent. However, I find mine does warm up a little on the highest setting, so I try to keep my play sessions relatively brief to preserve the life of this little bullet.

Care and Maintenance

The battery pack for for this toy is definitely not waterproof, so I'd be keeping this one away from the sink just for my own peace of mind. I simply wipe mine down with a tissue and some toy cleaner, making sure to clean the seam in the middle, and use a few drops of water to rinse off the bullet if I think it's necessary, then pop it in my toybox. As the bullet appears to be a hard plastic, I would suggest all lube types would be compatible, but the packaging suggests that rubber compatible lubes are best. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly why this would be, considering this doesn't look to me to be the sort of toy which would be particular about what you slathered on it, but if you wanted to play it safe I guess then steer clear of oil-based lubes (as they're the only lubes that spring to mind right as being non-compatible with rubber!). Thankfully, it is also powered by two AA batteries, which are easy to come across and simple to fit.

Packaging

To be honest, it was really nice not to have to stare at some buxom blonde on the package of my bullet. Instead there was a funky design of stripy pants practically painted over some tight little buns, to emphasise the fact the bullet is apparently 'pocket-sized'. It was an easy little blister pack that pops right open for you, with basic instructions on how to insert the batteries and a brief spiel about the product; nothing ground breaking.

What are rubber based lubes? I've never heard of them before.

    Great review!

I have to second Mr. Sauce here.... What's a rubber-based lube? Swell review Smile

To be honest, I had assumed they just meant lubes compatible with rubber, as I've never heard the term 'rubber lubes' before. I was just quoting right off the packet on that, so unfortunately I can't give you any great insights into the matter! Subsequently, I've used my water based lube with it and had absolutely no problems, so I won't be losing too much sleep over it just yet. Winking

Oops, as of now have discovered I cannot edit comments haha! So apologies for double post, but I will update the review soon (system isn't letting me get to my reviews at the moment) and make it a little clearer re: supposed 'rubber' lubricants. However, if anyone has any clues as to what they may be, let me know! I'll double check I read the packaging right too...
