Little pearls vibrator - traditional vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Teagan Shepard

This little pearl is good for general, all-over, stimulation. I've used it on myself and the husband, and on pretty much every erogenous zone. Memory serves that, for such an inexpensive vibe, when used in conjunction with digital stimulation, it is quite capable of fulfilling one's need for orgasm.

Although it could be used for any erogenous zone, shy away from anal use as the base is not flared enough to keep it from going into the anus.

It is also not waterproof, so don't take it into the shower or tub.

This vibe is made of smooth ABS plastic with a pearlized appearance. This is not a "painted on" pearl finish like the chocolates line. The texture is nice as there's minimal drag, especially when using some lube. This is an all-around decent vibe; I can't say that it's just for beginners as I think it's good to have on hand. It's no more expensive than the lifesaver vibes, but it's prettier and more effective.

The body of the vibe is very rigid, non-porous plastic. There are no grooves in the body of the vibe to collect fluids. However, the base of the vibe does have ridges in the cap that will collect fluids; wipe it down carefully with toy cleaner spray and a cloth. Do not submerge in water!

The design is that of a classic vibe. Although it is phallic, it isn't realistic. My husband found this to be very unintimidating, and I caught him playing with it occasionally.

The size isn't too small or too large; it's comfortable yet slightly filling. Again, this isn't something that will intimidate the hubby. It's an average length, with below average girth. And it's not a realistic color.

This toy is quite easy to hide. It's small enough to stash in the pillowcase, between the mattresses, in the lingerie drawer...

This toy is small enough it shouldn't be a problem to travel with. Just make sure to take the batteries out.

The base of the vibrator is a dial/battery cap. The vibrations range from low to mid-high and are best felt in the top of the shaft. The controls are very easy to use, and I don't find myself turning it off in the middle of playtime, nor does it turn itself on in the drawer.

As far as noise, it's not the loudest toy I own, but it's not the quietest either. I wouldn't use it if I were in fear of behind heard or drawing attention from a mother passing by my bedroom door.

Wiping down with a damp cloth and toy cleaner should be sufficient for cleaning this toy. You could use a bleach solution as a cleaner if you feel the need, but you can't boil or otherwise submerge the toy.

Water-based lube is what I generally recommend for playing with toys, but any kind of lube will work with this.

For storage, anything goes. Just make sure you don't drop the toy, as it can and will crack. Check the plastic housing before use for any cracks and discontinue use if you find a crack. This is how my first one took a trip to the garbage. I did replace it with the same model and do still have it.

The packaging is a basic plastic clamshell package with paper insert. I don't see a reason to keep the package. It doesn't lend well to storage in a small space, wrapping, or presenting as a gift.
