Ripple triple does not tickle

The Ripple is overpriced for the performance of this toy. It is quiet, and offers stimulation for 3 areas, but it is just too weak and too small for some users. The anal stimulator is way too flexible and hard to keep in place. If you like a bigger shaft and stronger vibrations in your toys I would recommend looking for a different toy to use.

Use

The Ripple Triple is made by Shots Media, and comes in 5 colors. This toy is aimed at pleasing the clit, anal, and G-Spot all at the same time. This toy is small enough to be used by beginners, and for anyone who enjoys smaller toys. The Ripple can be used for solo play, or for couples' play.

This toy offers variations for speed levels for everyone's preference. If you are in the mood for triple pleasure, this toy aims to please. If you like odd looking toys to try out, this is an oddball shape alright. It looks different than any other toy I own.

Use the Ripple for clit, vaginal, and anal pleasure, or take an use the bullet by itself for teasing pleasure. This can be used by both male, and females.

Material / Texture

The Ripple is made with silicone, which rates a 10 on the Eden safety chart. The silicone is a non-porous material which repels dirt, and bacteria. If you share toys, silicone is one of the better material toys to use.

Silicone material is smooth, and soft to the touch, with the Ripple however; they added some extra texture to this toy. There are ripples that run along the entire main shaft, and also along the anal probe. The ripples, in my opinion, add a lot to a toy. The ripples on the anal probe are able to be felt when inserted. The ripples on the main shaft not as much, as the shaft runs on the smaller side.

The texture, and silicone material in this toy would be good for beginners, and anyone who enjoys triple teasing with smaller toys. If you have never tried a silicone toy, you really are missing out on a great material for sexual pleasures.

There is no smell, nor taste with the Ripple. Silicone material is also a lint/hair collector, so I recommend you give the Ripple a wash before, and after each time you go to use this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

The Ripple has a very interesting shape, when I look at it, it reminds me of brass knuckles attached to a mini-dildo.(Of course the toy is not made with brass knuckles, but the shape of the handle resembles that.) The design of this toy is to stimulate the G-Spot, anal, and clit all at the same time. Great idea; if it works for you. There is a mini-holder where you slide the bullet into, this will allow for clit stimulation. I like the shape, and size of the anal probe, it would be a great anal toy for beginners, and anyone who likes a smaller butt toy.

The Ripple is not a large toy so it could be tucked into a normal size pocketbook. The Ripple is 5 1/2 inches in length, with an insertable length of only 3 1/2 inches. The circumference is 4 inches, and a diameter of 1 1/4 inches. The length of the main shaft is about the same length as from the tip of my thumb down to the bottom of the palm of my hand. The toy only weighs 0.2 pounds, so this is a very lite weight toy. Since this is a lite weight toy, your hand will not get tired from using this toy.

I like the concept of the Ripple, I just wish it came in a larger model, with 2 bullets.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are 3 main functions to this toy. Clit, anal, and G-Spot stimulation. For me, 2 out of 3 is not bad, right? First I want to start with the G-Spot shaft, the shaft is very small, and for me it did not find my G-Spot at all. The ripples would feel amazing I believe, if it had a bigger shaft. The vibrations are very weak in this part of the toy; as there is no bullet inside the shaft. The weak vibrations, are from the bullet; that is attached to the handle. The G-Spot shaft is not much of a toy in my opinion. It did not reach my G-Spot at all, but it may reach the G-Spot for others.

The anal probe that is also attached to the handle, I really like the shape, and size. The ripples feel good as an added texture. The vibrations again; are very weak. The probe part of this toy is very flexible, maybe too flexible for some people(like me). I found it hard to keep in place while squirming around on my bed. If you like big butt toys, I do not think you would appreciate this probe.

The bullet, I saved for last; as I think; this is the best part of the whole toy. The bullet is small, but pretty powerful; for a bullet size vibrator. The bullet slips tightly into the holder attached to the handle of the Ripple. You may use a little water-based lube to help easy the bullet into place. The bullet offers 10 different settings. They are as listed below;
1) low
2) medium
3) high
4) fast pulse
5) long, and short pulse pattern that repeats
6) 6 vibration steps, then back down (123456 654321)
7) 8 vibration steps, double pulse at each step increasing repeating (1122334455667788 1122334455667788)
8) pulses escalating that repeats
9) steady 9 somewhat slow pulses that repeats
10) steady for a few seconds, then fast pulses for several seconds then back to steady; then repeats

There is one push button that turns the toy on, and off, and that controls the settings. You do have to go through all the settings before you can shut the toy off, or get back to a setting that you have passed by. When the bullet is inserted into the holder, the bullet is pressed up against the body, going across the clit. This can be uncomfortably for some users, you may need to position it to suit your personal preference. I find the control is hard to use; with the bullet laying sideways. I pinched my clit a few times, while trying to change the settings. ( do not ask me how, I have no idea; I just know it hurt a bit)

The bullet can be used by itself, without using the Ripple handle at all. You can use this on your clit, nipples, and for outside anal stimulation. I do not recommend inserting this in your butt, as it is small, and you do not want it to get sucked up in; this could lead to an embarrassing emergency room visit.

The Ripple is waterproof, you can take this in the tub, shower, or pool. There is an O-ring which protects the battery compartment in the bullet. I have submerged my bullet in the water for about 10 minutes, and there was no water that leaked into the battery compartment. The Ripple runs on 3 LR44 watch batteries, which are included with the toy.

The bullet is pretty quiet, so it can not be heard through a door, or over a tv. This is a silicone toy, so it is recommended that you use a water-based lube; so no damage comes to your toy.

    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

The Ripple can be washed with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, or cleaned with an adult toy cleaner. When cleaning the toy, I suggest removing the bullet, so you can clean the bullet holder as well. Due to the ripples in the material, be sure to clean the toy well.

The handle part of the toy, you can boil for 3 minutes, or place in the top rack of your dishwasher to disinfect your toy. I do not recommend cleaning the bullet in this way though. The bullet I would suggest just washing with the soap and water.

The Ripple is an odd shape toy, I store mine in the box that it arrived in; to keep the toy clean and damage free. This toy should be stored in a box, or plastic bag by itself. The Ripple may not play well with other toys.

The material will drag along your skin, so I do suggest using a water-based lube with your silicone toys.

Packaging

The Ripple Triple arrives in a nice looking cardboard box. The toy is able to be seen through the clear plastic window on the front of the box, making the package not discreet. There is a lot of information written on the box about the Ripple, including how to install your batteries.

There is a small, "try before you buy" sample in the corner of the box, that would allow consumers to feel the silicone material; if this was sold in an adult store.

There is a colorful pamphlet included that shows other toys that are produced by Shot Toys. There are some interesting items available from them.

The Ripple would make this a cute gift for the special someone in your life. The box can be used for a gift box.

Last but not least, the Ripple comes with a one year warranty.

Personal comments

I personally feel that the Ripple is way over priced. The toy for me, is not all that great. I was counting the squares on my ceiling while using this toy. If it was bigger, and had a strong bullet in the shaft, then it would be much better in my opinion.

Experience

Try, try again, is what they say. No matter how many times I try the Ripple it will just not give me any pleasure. I laid on my bed, as I was so wanting to try this new green toy I received. I am not a big fan of anal play. When I saw the little anal probe attached to the Ripple, I thought, well that size should be fine for me. I was right, on the part of the size of the anal probe, but sad to say the Ripple did not live up to the hopes I had for this toy.

I turned the bullet on and I could feel the vibrations were pretty strong in the bullet, but they lost a lot of strength as they traveled up through the shaft part of the toy. I was determined to enjoy my new toy, so I placed the shaft inside of my pussy and reached around to put the anal probe into my butt. The anal probe was so flexible it did not want to stay in place. The bullet part of the toy was resting on my clit. If I laid still, and did not move the toy actually kind of works. The bullet tingles the clit, as the anal probe would stimulate the butt. The main shaft, again is too small for me to enjoy.

I tried thrusting the toy a bit, in doing so; it took the bullet off the clit, and that stops things all together, as the shaft for the pussy; is way too small for me too enjoy, and the anal probe would not stay in place. I tried this repeatedly, for a number of times. I was getting frustrated, as I so wanted to feel the shaft. The toy is too small for me, and left me bored, and frustrated. I am so thankful for my other toys, that never let me down.

Follow-up commentary
This to me is not worth the money, the toy simply just does not work for me at all. It is too flimsy, and very weak. I would not recommend this toy for anyone. Keep looking there are better toys available. Great concept, if it only worked right.
